Invincible isnt slowed down by anything he decides to slow down because if he goes at any speed above mach 1 shit starts to get crazy especially when they get to crazy speeds and they start causing bombs behind them from the atoms smashing into eachother

It would be more useful to calculate the work Mark does when stopping the asteroid, rather than express his strength as the weight lifted. Remember, at Earth's surface. The asteroid may have had a mass in the 100,000 tonne range but that only equates to a weight in the 100,000 tonne range on earth, where the gravitational acceleration is 9.8m/s squared. Mark actually slows the asteroid from re entry speed to a stop in seconds. From his frame of reference, he's accelerating the asteroid at 1000's of m/s squared. Rather than the weight of the asteroid being 3 percent less. It's more like 1000's of percent heavier by weight.

For the record, Mark has a Canada shirt because the show's creator Robert Kirkman has a child that visited Canada and bought the shirt there. One thing you missed is that Invincible is actually wayyyyyyyy faster than you calculated in this video, in season 1 when he fights Allen the alien, he goes from inside earth's atmosphere to the surface of the moon in about 19 seconds, and considering the moons distance from earth is about 385,000 km, this would have him travelling at about 72.9 MILLION kmph. This is also after Allen is pushing him away from the earth for a few seconds, meaning he was actually travelling way faster than that, but there is no clear indication of how far away he was pushed by Allen. So 72.9 million kmph is the LOW estimate of his top speed

At 9:07 you also have to consider the fact that the asteroid had an initial velocity even before it felt earths gravitational pull. Even tho the asteroid is weightless, it still had a mass, and if you find the mass and figure out how fast its moving, coupled WITH earths gravitational pull, the force that mark exerted on the asteroid would be far greater than what you said

I feel like figuring out how much the asteroid would weigh near the earth doesn't accurately portray how much force mark would have to generate in order to stop it and then throw it away. The asteroid would already be moving at an incredibly high velocity which if you were to factor in it's supposed mass would yield forces much much higher than what you would find just calculating it's weight near earth. What's important here is the momentum of the asteroid (mass x velocity) and then how man newtons of force he would have to generate in order to not only stop it but re-accelerate it away. Hope what I wrote made sense and I still had fun watching keep it up!

Just so everyone knows. Neil degrassi Tyson 2 years ago was on record saying that earths curvature still could NOT be seen even at the carmen line (100km) up. So disregard any fool telling you that you can see earths curvature in an airplane.

You are doing your math wrong. The hat is following a parabola, not a straight line, and the asteroid nothing weighs anything weight is a force. Mark had to first stop the asteroids movement and then twirl it and send it back. The force generation would be much higher than simply "bench pressing" the mass

They showed Omni man was able to fly so fast he had a red electric charge over his entire body when he destroyed that alien planet. If I’m correct he was near light speed. Don’t viltrumites age like wine? Doesn’t Omni man get stronger the older he gets? Can someone please tell me just how strong Omni man is? Also if Invincible is only 17 with viltrumite blood, how strong can he possibly be? If Omni man is clearly a walking nuke on steroids, how can mark or anyone even stand a chance against Omni man? How can mark match Omni man’s strength if he is only 17 earth years old while Omni man is clearly a monster in terms of power?! The demonstration of omni man literally destroying a planet more advanced than earth and its humans was pointless. Why show that Omni man is capable of destroying an entire planet if his 18 year old son could whoop his ass? Plus mark is half human shouldn’t he be weaker?

So, 1) it’s not red electricity he’s flying fast enough to ignite the atmosphere hence the explosions and shockwave following his flight across that world 2) yes they get stronger with age, also get stronger by nearly dying which is why Mark gets strong enough to fight much older ones later in the story 3) no he’s not half human, like yes he is but also no he’s not XD they state in the show and source that he’s basically pure blooded. Viltrumite DNA overrides pretty much all other so he’s like 99.9% pure

Omni-Man is multi-continental in power. He doesn't have the physical capability to destroy a planet by himself and we've never seen him destroy a moon, so we can't call him moon level either. Also, Omni-Man is massively faster than light. He casually travels between planets that are light years apart and reaches them in weeks. And a 17/18 year old Invincible is not as strong as Omni-Man. However, Mark in his early 20's and 30's does end up surpassing his father in a strength. This is because Mark is the main character and the plot demands he get stronger. Realistically, based on what was explained about Viltrumite biology Mark should've never surpassed Omni-Man in strength since Viltrumites get stronger with age.

Also does being human help the fact that he’s basically a pure blooded viltrumite? Humans are basically physically identical to viltrumites they just don’t have superpowers. And also since Omni man is considered a high military ranking soldier how could invincible catch up to his viltrumite ripeness, I get how he nearly dies and get stronger but isn’t Omni man a super seasoned viltrumite?

@@jesusa1112 no, any race they breed with would have the same thing happen as far as I know. Nolan is like dead average for a viltrumite he’s strong compared to everything else but he’s just a regular guy for them like he’s experienced but that’s it he’s nothing special in terms of strength and Mark get ramped up in power pretty fast as the story progresses.
