For the EMP, not every mecha would be instantly disabled by every EMP in fiction just because it's called an EMP. MOGUERA has a noted resistance to them, Mechagodzilla withstood one of Heisei's nuclear pulses (which naturally would also make an EMP like real nuclear blasts do), who knows if Showa MG's space titanium would be able to conduct such a pulse, and Jaegers with atomic reactors instead of batteries are also not vulnerable to EMPs.

In one of the earlier G-fan issues, talking about 96 like era here, there was an article where they did the top 10 Godzilla strongest villains. Now grant it, that list is way out of date. Still though, they only had him at 10, barely making the list. Battra placed higher, which I really don't agree with. (An argument can be made for the Larva form though). They actually had little chibi like art drawn out for the battles. It was rather adorable in a way honestly. Anyhoo, I'm pretty sure the matches they had made were Gamera vs Godzilla. Anguirus vs Gurion. Gigan vs Jiger, Viras vs King Ghidorah (what a one sided fight lol), Gyaos vs Fire Rodan, Baragon vs Barugon, and Zigra vs Ebirah.

Overlooked? My guy, I think Orga would like to have a word with you, lol. Sure, Megalon has only been in one movie and isn't breaking into many people's top 10 lists, but he's anything but overlooked compared to a lot of the other older one-off monsters. Varan, Titanosaurus, Gorosaurus, King Ceasar, so on. I'd say he's more mid in fan opinions rather than just overlooked, at least with just how many monsters there really are, and with how iconic others are in comparison.

I always thought Megalon was underrated, he’s a good counter to most top tier Showa kaiju. It’s just too bad that unless another kaiju is ordering him around he’s a total goofball and doesn’t seem to know how to fight. Hello, I would like to tell you about the beam of the Burning Godzilla at the expense of Wikizilla. This is mistake. The burning heat ray is not the same as the one used in the previous films. Even there, they were different rays. The Burning Heat Ray is like an enhanced version of the base beam which is stronger than the base ray but weaker than the spirals ones from the previous films. Why do I say so? Because in the movie, when he fought with Super X3, he was made from the remains of Moguera, which did not withstand the spiral, but withstood this ray. The pilots came to the conclusion that Godzilla's heat ray had become more powerful. Obviously, this comparison was with his usual atomic breath, and not with spiral ones. If so, this beam would destroy the Super X3 in one volley. So it's weaker. As for Megalon, it is powerful. He has many powerful abilities, but due to his sadistic tendencies, he uses them sparingly. But I wouldn't put him on the same level of physical strength as Godzilla. As the movie showed, Godzilla was superior to both Megalon and Gigan when it came to one-on-one combat. Megalon also lost in close combat to Jet Jaguar. according to the film, you can make a clear strength that Godzilla is the strongest physically, then comes Jet Jaguar, and then Megalon and Gigan go at approximately the same level of strength, since they lost one on one to Jet Jaguar, and Godzilla could at some point be stronger and Megalon and Gigan together. Megalon has EMP only in games, but it was not in the movie. Do not list abilities that were only in the games and are not canon. With such success, he could disable Jet Jaguar since he's a robot, but he didn't because he couldn't.
