Veldora really has grown A LOT! He was also even happy that Rimuru (his best friend) evolved into a True Dragon, something even Velgrynd could not accept so easily. He has matured much throughout the serie.

Oh my god!! That scene was funny asf!! Even Rimuru is holding his laugh so hard. Veldora keep on insisting that he is stronger that that, which makes it funnier.

If I may add, I think the main reason of veldora’s lost to chloe was because the one who fought him was actually hinata, who took temporary control of chloe’s body in order to fight him. She had fought him and lost once in the labyrinth before she traveled back in time, so she knew exactly about his fighting style and how to counter it. Furthermore, she was mocked by veldora during their fight, which made hinata somewhat held a grudge to him. Veldora also said that hinata’s fighting style was not as effective and accurate as the hero who defeated and imprisoned him, I’m sure it was because hinata in the labyrinth didn’t have any clue about veldora, whereas the one who imprisoned him had learnt from their first encounter in the future

Also because His attack didn't work on her because of absolute defense of unlimited impresonment. She cover herself with the barrier. Veldora was just spaming his abilities without much thought or focus on it.

I'm totally shipping Veldora with Luminous Valentine, before there was justified hatred but now...well, they act like Tsunderes to each other. Seeing as Luminous spent the last 2 thousand years thinking of nothing but Chloe and Veldora, I would say she might hook up with Chloe, but our time traveling hero is just as obsessed with Rimuru, which means Veldora gets it by default.

This is mostly just how I see the true dragons. They’re representations of nature. Velgryn is acceleration, velzard is deceleration, veldora is expansion, and veldanava is creation. Now just need stagnation and destruction.

My theory is the 3 True Dragons don’t necessarily represent the elements but they represent the 3 concepts of the movement of particles such as Deceleration, Acceleration and Expansion. Deceleration is cold represented by White Ice, Acceleration is hot represented as Scorch and Expansion is air represented as Storm. Spiritual magic is the just the physical manifestations of the True Dragons as Spiritual magic obeys the laws of physics. Velzard is Water and Space, Velgrynd is Fire and Space, Veldora is Wind and Space and Gaia could be Earth and Space. This could be why Spirit of Space is considered the most powerful of the 5. From reading the light novel it’s seems the Spirits of Light, Dark and Time were created before the 3 True dragons and that’s why they aren’t incorporated. (Velzard stopping time is from Patience King Gabriel)

So... If Veldora is Space Wind Water, does that mean Velgrynd is like.. Space Fire Earth? Velzard Space Water... Earth??? I just assume all Dragons have Space attribute, but as True Dragon, being "perfect" spiritual beings above True Hero/Demon Lord, I would've guess they all got the Time element to some aspect, especially since Velzard can freeze time, Velgrynd jump through Space and Time, and Veldora literally could control probabilities, which all are Time abilities. idk it's weird

this is the WN so it isn't canon but Veldora felt so bad about destroying Ruminas's old country, that when it seemed a fully awakened Dagrull would conquer Ruberious Veldora came to square things with Ruminas. After a tough battle, Veldora sealed Dagrull into the earth itself causing a renewal of the wasteland between Damragania and Ruberious. HOWEVER the cost to activate it was all non-living things(a large portion of Dagrull's army where reainimated Giant corpses). Veldora thought he was so clever beating his enemy rejuvenating the land, and squaring a debt all with one move he failed to realize all non-living things included the Capital city of Ruberious which was totally wiped from existence(the people where fine though) so Veldora ACCIDENTALLY destroyed Ruminas's 2nd country too.

@@godfrage9335 I think, it's around November, after they release the movie in Japan. After the LN translation, they will keep up with the Manga. Then, they'll prolly start Season 3 trailer and first part(Which I guess that they will release Season 3 first part on either fall 2023 or summer 2024, and followed up by Season 3 part 2 on summer or fall 2024). This is just based on the pacing of past Manga Chapters, LN Volumes, and Anime Seasons. If Fuze(The Author) keep their pacing like before, then you should expect that the statements I said above are correct sequence.

Honestly I can't help being pissed whenever his sisters are mentioned, Especially that Ice Brat! The narrative tries to disguise this with comedic sugar-coats, but the truth is Veldora went through severe abuse. Its No Wonder he was unable to mature at a decent rate before meeting Rimuru, mental scarrs like that are a serious hindrance in anyone growth and (I honestly say this without any pretentious motivation) they are only few in reality who can turn this into strength. This series needs to stop treating Veldora like a joke, let him grow stronger to Out-class those failure siblings. I wanna go back to seeing him as Rimuru's bad-ass father figure. At the very least let there be a movie focused on him!

I totally agree with you. About everything. His sisters, especially Velzard is such a bitch!! I remember when everyone was excited seeing in the anime for the first time saying she's hot, onee-sama vibes ,etc... But in reality she a bitatch sister! Also, I totally am for Veldora getting back his real dragon charisma. The author turned him into too much of a joke in the later part of the story. seriously, I feel sorry for Veldora turning into a clown by his own inventor (author) :/ :'(

When true Dragons die, they lose pieces of themselves (which is impressive that he managed to keep most of his personality intact with just will-power), which velzard tries to use this to brainwash/mold him. How can you expect him to look past destructive habits if he keeps being mind-screwed like that. That stupid sister does not deserve to be justified at all.

Official translations are only up till volume 12 or 13 if I'm not mistaken, for volumes afterwards you'll just have to bear with Mtl

Veldora burst out his mana that revived the planet from the dead. Damn. Veldora is the nuclear plant of Tempest that could revive a dead planet.
