I think it was the side at an odd angle, he was peeking a bit with his side and sort of raising up and I think the Progetto was more on the right than he thought.

imo it’d be fine if rewardtanks were only matched vs TX. In this case the tanks would still be very strong but couldn’t just drive completely brain dead throu the battlefield

Yes, this tank is stupid, and probably should've never been added. One weakspot of a cupola frontally is ridiculous, no other tank can just drive through tier 8s and they can't do anything, not even t95 or E3, and those tanks dont even have turrets and they are far slower. It needs a real lower plate like every othrer tank that should be pennable by tier 8s with ease if loading gold. Shame on WG for adding this, absolutely brainless decision. Maus, Type 5, and E100 will be slaughtered if they drive in like this tank does.

Mate your just shit at the game. 279 is an easy farm if you have a brain. 0 Gun depression in a meta that is Hull down, nerfs the tank plenty

Just from my PoV, you would be safer in the hill compared to going down, 279 is safer on upper ground. It doesnt matter coz you win anyway, but i think you can stay alive in the hill

Yeh I thought that too, but I mean it's Daki and he did 10k so maybe we are wrong. I presume he was worried about being rushed and by going down he had other guns supporting him.

i wanted a cupola/genuine weakspot instead i now i have tank that is slow doesn't hit targets at 200 meters longer reload it has become the old Tornwagen, not fun to play, and not fun to play against

All they had to do was buff the frontal armor so it doesn't get auto penned by gold but increase the size of the cupola so the tank can be killed by anyone who can aim. But wh doesn't know how to Nerf tanks properly (remember that crippling E3 view range nerf).

the speed nerfs barely impacted this thing. theoretically it should go 5 kph slower but realistically due to its dogshit ground resistances, speed on soft and medium terrains stays the same so overall it felt more like 2 kph nerf driving this thing around post 1.22 (w/ turbo)

Yoo gamers, howzit. Just a question for anyone out there; I'm grinding vz55 and I'm wondering whether I should use my bonds to buy imprv. Hardening and imprv. Stabs or to save a bit more and buy 121b? Any thoughts?

I always spend my bonds on equipment, for me it's worth more improving the tanks I like as opposed to getting more tanks, however now that I have a bit of equipment I am thinking to save up and get the 121B too

The nerf wasn't sufficient, IMHO. I mean, sure, the mobility and gun nerfs were needed, but the problematic armor profile still makes fighting against it an absolute nightmare, mostly with tier 8s and 9s - same with the Chieftain. It's good that WG has addressed some issues with the 279 and Chieftain, but maybe giving both of these behemoths a weakspot or two wouldn't be such a bad idea? Like the 279 having the pre-release lower plate weakspot? Or chief having some small overmatchable roof plate or something? Just a thought.

Tier 8's and 9's should have trouble penning tier 10 heavy tanks from the front. The front armor is easy to pen with most tier 10 premium ammo unless the player is lifting his front end on a rubble pile in which case he can't shoot well because of the -5* gun depression. The nerfs could have been a bit harder with a large nerf to the reload as well however.

Far worse, now south has 9 percent win rate advantage. Ice road always sucked, now it's fooking terrible!

Why does WG nerf every thing apart from the fking armor ? They make it so complicated, same with the Kran, all it needed was cuploas to be a little taller, maybe 50mm, that would of been fine but instead they gimp the things that already were not great about the tank.

I am simple man. I see BZ176 being bullied, i upvote the video. BTW yes, i never hated 279e half as much as i hate BZ. Actually i don't mind facing 279e, but i hate playing it tho. It's partially reason why i stopped playing in clans. Just boring and annoying 279e / chief comps all day long. AMX M4 was the best thing that happened to this game, too bad it got nerfed to the ground.

The reason why people might hate BZ more than 709E is because you could buy BZ with money which is the reason there are more out in the wild. Also it is T8 which is the most popular tier. If there would be 709E at Tier 8 then I'd say people would hate 709E more.

Daki, please influence WG to nerf it further… I think it’s still too quick… form 40km/hr to 35km/hr… I think it needs to be at 30km/hr.. it should not be quicker than the SConq
