What I like about your commentary is that you describe player's tactics in broad terms and give specific playouts, but don't spend time exploring endless complicated Joseki variations as some other channels do. As a kyu player I can follow what you describe and take great pleasure in doing so. Sincere thanks.

Your way of explaining what is going on in a pro game is so clear and educational, which is so rare! You explain the important things and don’t get stuck in small details, which I can’t say for every channel. As a DDK player I find this super fascinating and even helpful to think about, keep this kind of content up!

It seems to me the purpose of the attach in the upper right is not so much to attack w, but to build power in the center of the board. Also attaching against an already strong group is a technique to make it over concentrated. It’s not really an attacking technique, right? It would be pretty unusual to attack a group by attaching to it. Instead you attach to gain strength for attacking elsewhere. It seems to me like perhaps Black felt he had enough territory in the bottom right, so he’s just trying to break up all the other parts, and the attachment was a way to do that. I wonder what the AI thought of it. Black seemed to me to have pretty good vision of the whole board throughout.

I know it would be a little bit more work, but I think it would add a lot more value to your videos if, in the pivotal moments, you showed the AI evaluation with the graph up to that point (after mentioning your opinion and point of view, and without spoilers). For example, in this game, I was really puzzled cause it feels like White has so little compared to Black (at least up to that ko threat).

Definitely seems like it could be a useful and relevant graphic. I'm just not sure how to implement it in a way which is easy and fun to read. I don't really care for the excessive detail in standard AI eval graphs, maybe someday I'll hand draw a Telegraph eval graph instead of something

@@telegraphgo Perhaps just at the end, you could sometimes do a 30 sec recap of key moments and mention the evals -- just an idea. Another question is the players' evaluations at various points. I guess many of us would be very curious about how accurate pros are, and which positions they might misjudge, and when do they just think about what's the best move instead of who's winning.
