FYI, "cold press" is defined by any means of extraction which doesn't exceed 100c. This is technically cold press. The hot method boils the coconut milk until the water is evaporated.

i dont understand, this is cold press? i mean, they refined the oil to "filter" it and get ride of the sediments as they said? or i didn't understand something, if they refined the oil, it's not cold press anymore right ?

@@lokhz9876 No, who said cold pressed can't be refined?? If that is the case check cold pressed olive oil video. Without refining it contains lumps of olive in it, you would never like to use it. Cold pressed or virgin means where it is not heated to extract the oil

you are using iron to pressing the oil out, traditionally it should be wood so that it will create the heat and oil is preserved with its all properties.

Iron also does same. Wood absorbs oil and you may get slight amount of rancid oil.

Bro sulphur is not adulteration, it's use to remove moisture from the copra for the long life. Do you know all the chilli, coriander all most all pulses are sulphur treated.

I see this man adding something to the coconut. Looks like a salt. I make coconut oil the traditional way I add nothing. Cool press is only important for olive oil. One of the beautis of coconut oil is the that it is not affected by heat.
