I have 400 engrams and I’m going to see how many armor pieces drop with max stats. Legendary armor can drop up to 68 total stats at the base amount, before any stat mods, artifice mods, masterworks, etc)

Until you dont have seasonal access on a regular. Many player forget that not everyone has the same access as everyone depending on how much they pay. Apparently I have to point out that 1 month having to bum rush grind is palpable at best - doesn't account for the past 6 months being dead until their new upcoming dlc. D1 vet who lost interest in the game during beyond light.

@@igneelousif you play the game so little that you don’t have seasonal access you shouldn’t even care that much about it anyway. Getting high stat armor makes your character stronger by a magnitude of around 10%. Most random armor will get you 330 stats and high stat gear will get you to around 360, which is 10% stronger. Only way to get stronger is artifice armor and perfect stat distributions. Regardless, if you can’t afford to pay $20 every 120 days then you probably don’t play the game that much in the first place.

The drop rate for great armor has decreased significantly. I had about 300 myself and had one really solid piece of armor that I could use right away and four others that I vaulted. It’s really sad tbh

So were you grabbing the engram or the actual armor piece? Cuz I get stat rolls just fine if I focus it specifically.

1. Were you using a ghost mod to increase armor stats? 2. You should focus the single pieces rather than just random focus, so you're sure you're not getting class items. It cost more engrams, but it's worth it. Also, having spikes in the right columns is better than 68 total. I prefer using a 65 piece with good spikes in Resilience and Discipline rather than a 68 with a spike in Intellect. It you want to do a real test, see how many armor drops with 68 total AND 2 spikes in the right stats (Ex. Discipline ghost mod, how many 68 armors with spikes in Discipline+Resilience/Recovery?)

Plus focusing a single armor drop has the added bonus of being near max stats. You may not like what the stats are but at least they'll never drop below 63

That's good general advice. Seems like ypu are criticising the uploader. His vis was made to be a small sample sized look into how often these pieces drop in a regular loot pool.

1. He did focus and use the ghost mod 2. You don't get class items on random armour rolls... 3. Spike don't make it worse or better, all that matters are wasted stats. Infact spikes could be worse cuz they can't be matched as easily with other armour pieces. 4. Again spikes don't matter as much as wasted stats

Idk if you know but if you focus the armor piece you want it will drop with way higher stat total, not focusing the engrama into concrete pieces are just a waste of them

@@Ceramixs he didn't focus single items, that's why...he's just spamming the focus engram to the left of the specific pieces...so technically, he did focus...and it cost's less engrams this way, depends if you need a specific item or not....if you just need more pieces to add to your d2armor pool, i'd focus the way he does too, swapping ghost's focus occasionally for different builds/spikes in dif categories (pvp stat spikes vs pve for example)

if you focus armor with the tables instead of opening the engrams you’re guaranteed higher stat armor. it’s very easy to get 68 armor with there and i don’t know how people still haven’t realized

Max stat is actually 70 stat points, and in the 7ish years i've played D2....i have received only (2) 70 base stat armor gear (with armor mod and a masterwork brings them up to 90). Now the 68 rolled gear i do get periodic.

It's not 70 it's 72. I have a warlock exotic with 72. But maybe exotic get a bit extra not ledges? This is with out master working btw. Obvs 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

@@horsey9083 ledge can go up to 69 maybe 70, I have a warlock head piece with 69 base stat. Season of the arrivals armour of I remember rightly. Back then the season pass armour was actually worth it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you master work a 70 it will be an 82, and with a +mod it will be a 92. So if it’s 90 total, you had a 68.

Yeah I got an Orpheus Rig that dropped with 70. Masterworked and with a +10 Mod and it’s 90. But methinks this is just the guy trying to drum up “argument” interaction to boost his views.

This is why I love Decoding Seasonal Engrams. Idk if I just noticed it cuz i’m new to decoding, but if I have a +10 Res Ghost Mod then my Decodes always have at least 20+ Res, which is obvious, but this makes it so much easier to get a stat pool I need because 70% of the time I get another 20+ in another stat, like Strength, which is perfect for my Titan build, and the total pool always seems way way higher on Decoded than random

I got a tm-Earp custom drop from persys, and rolled 68 w/ artifice armor, and it had 19 resilience, boosted to 27 through armor mods

I was focusing for random armor since it's cheaper and still drops high stat armor. It's 1 engram for random armor and I think 4 engrams for specific armor.

@@Marshix Its 2 engrams for targeting and i came back 3 weeks ago after a year off. I hit over 20 68 stat pieces, BUT only 3 pieces are good XD and that was with ghost push. My best is a helm with 6,16,12,30,2,2. So only 4 wasted in mobility, im a lock main so still a great helm. With only about 200 Defiance and Witch engrams used{i didnt bother with witch or dive}

This is the balance a lot of games don't get right. Because you have to reward the player with enough loot to keep them interested but you also have to make sure every little thing is not a god roll.

I think you should try focusing the specific Armor Piece. Gave me good Stat distribution at least with Discipline Armorer.

it took me a little bit but after like maybe 150 engrams and the ghost mod I was able to get triple 100's on Resilience, Recovery, and Discipline on all classes so Im happy!

You should try farming master ranked dungeons, iirc they have some of the gear drops Stat wise and it also include artifice stats as well

Thank you for doing this video... I was starting to think I was unlucky. I've been grinding to get high stat armor, and it's a pain... me and my clan did Warlords Ruin on May 24th, only to get one piece of chest armor with a terrible stat distribution. I'm planning to farm it again this weekend. 🤞

With a ghost mod AND focusing a single piece at a time, my drops have routinely been 66-68, with more than a few pieces dropping double 30s. Focusing is your friend

I just farmed highstat artifice armor for all classes in the duality dungeon in the weeks before Lightfall Release. And then dropped destiny on Lightfalls Release lol.

I'm so glad I farmed for all of my armor before they absolutely BUTCHERED artifice drops, I think when Lightfall dropped? But honestly could've been well before then when Duality dropped. The only place I've had good armor drop from is Xur with randomly rolled exotics.

You get more 68 drops from the current season so as of the final shape, echo armor is the best to get 68 rolls

This week there's Grasp of Avarice farmable at Master difficulty, that's just better. Use the gost focusing. Also, after getting sick of farming it, just focus for whatever just didn't drop..

Oh good, so it’s not weird that I rarely get any 60+ armor pieces. I picked up Legacy Collection (so I started from the middle of the campaign. Yaaay confusion) on sale a few weeks ago and I’ve only ever gotten a few pieces that are over 60, which are the Ossuary pieces for Warlock (and some exotics), so I’ve been rocking that for a while now. Any advice for farming higher-end gear is appreciated 😁

You have to focus specific armor pieces so that the ghost mods apply. This will give you higher stat pieces on average

pretty sure u have to focus individual type instead of any armor in order for higher stats and ghost mods to work. i get good pieces like that. obviously this may cost twice more engrams but i think its more reliable. just my two cents, as i said im pretty sure.

If you're trying to get high stat armor from the one engram rolls you're gonna be really disappointed. Targeting specific slots with the three engrams will give higher stat rolls

I'm glad someone said something about this. Unfortunately my luck is pretty rotten when it comes to engrams. My rolls never exceed 62 and very rarely push 60. I wish was lying 🤷🏼

Ficuse the specific piece, don't just decode it. You always get crappy stats with just decoding. Focusing the specific piece has given me 3 x 100 stats builds for both my titan and lock.. but I then ran out of engrams for my hunter 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

@beloveddoubt Thats understandable, depending on how you like to play I do suggest looking into what the tiers do for your other abilities. The base recharge can be significantly reduced so if you like using abilities alot I can definitely make your gameplay loop more smooth. If you're enjoying yourself that's all that matters though 😁

Idk if armor has changed since a few years ago. But all my armor has 84+ stat on it and it’s just normal armor. I’ve had quad 100 stats on my warlock for years now and I don’t ever plan on changing it lol. I’m really curious if I can get 5 100 stats if I actually tired going for focusing armors n stuff fr

Snap my lock needs recovery. I have 3 x 100 stats for resilience, discipline and intellect, but can't seem to get resilience and recovery and interlect which is my ideal build..😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️

If you focus a stat with the ghost, it might increase your chances at 68 gear. My drop rate is way higher. I get 68 stat gear at least 1/10 drops. And a lot of them are 67 stat gear too.

This is so bull. I have discipline mod always equipped. Out of 100s of focused for random armor engrams, I have lots of 67s but barely any 68s. Maybe 5 in total

Vendor armor is good when you have no good armor and need to fill out some builds with decent stats, but you aren’t getting top tier perfect armor from them. You should be doing master dungeons and pit of heresy boss for armor you actually want to use consistently with the most stats. Vendor armor is for the mid game players.

Little tip destiny has a antifarming system the more you try to farm engrames the worse the states only open ten at a time or you will just get garbage
