Rasheed Wallace has never been a fan of Doc Rivers and it all stems from his time back with the Boston Celtics in 2010. He says Doc would trash talk him to the media when things weren't on him and he also promised certain things that he never followed through on.

Honestly, I think Coach Rivers could have handled the situation better with Sheed. A lot of people don’t like to be criticized openly out in the public. It is better to do it behind closed doors. Yeah, Sheed could be really good posting up , but it really depends on the team’s offense. Certain times it is useful to have a big that can shoot a three pointer like Sheed. Sheed started shooting three pointers when he was playing for Portland due to him getting beat up guarding Shaq and Uncle Cliffy (Clifford Robinson) suggested to Sheed to take more outside shots to get Shaq out of the paint. Obviously on that Boston team I would have rather either Ray Allen or Paul Pierce taking the three point shots than Sheed.

He's talking out his ass on this one. Boston was at the end of his career, and he still got minutes. He averaged 22 mpg, shot 9 times a game and was 28% from deep, and 51% from 2P range. He was given plenty of opportunity to help this squad and Doc was right. Get in there and work the post, because your best years were only 36% from deep, that's barely serviceable as a shooter.

Well, Rasheed Wallace what he is saying is 100% true. You did the same thing in Portland. All you did was shoot fade away soft jump shots and flap your gums I bet Glenn DOC Rivers would slap the taste out of your mouth. I always wondered why you didn’t man up and go beast mode down low - you would have been unstoppable. You ruined the Blazers chance at a title when you choked against the Lakers. Instead of taking it to the rack like a grown man, you shot weak fade aways and your team disintegrated.

DOC, oh I'm sorry, GLENN has that one title and has had many loaded teams and he keeps getting opportunities with more LOADED teams. Why not give an asst in the league or even a college coach a chance instead of someone who consistently fails? He traded his own son 🤷🏽‍♂️ Doc was a starting guard in the league. He had to have taught his son how to play. He gets to the league amd eventually gets to LA with his Dad and his Dad trades him??? But u trained him??? 👎🏼

Seems like the only ⭐ players who got anything nice to say about Doc are KG and Pierce. Doc had problems with Rondo and Ray Allen, Blake Griffin HATED him so did Redick and Big Baby and look at the 76ers he couldn't get along with Embiid or Harden 🤔@@dajb90

He clearly was shooting and missing too many 3’s they needed him down low to put the pressure on Gasol

He averaged 22.5 minutes a game, played 79 (started 13), and shot atrocious from 2 and from 3. I don't think Docs a good coach, but wtf do Rasheed be talking about????

I don't like Rivers and I think he's very overrated. But Sheed was out of shape that season in Boston, shooting too many inefficient threes, and when his team needed him the most, he would be out of breath by the 2nd half. Sure a very talented player can give you something, but if he's not in great shape he's not gonna continue doing that for entire game. This is why Celtics blew game 7 lead after the halftime.

Let's be honest, Doc is the one who put the nail in the 76ers coffin in the Ben Simmons situation. Of course Ben was a fake-a$$ douchbag who did what he could to excuse himself from playing while still cashing in, but it really went south with Doc's "I dunno" answer. You gotta have your players' backs, no matter how bad they are or how upset you are at them.

KG got hurt & can back that year , be definitely should’ve got more minutes , Perk was cool when the opposing team had a monster but most times Shred should have started . Doc never could adjust well .

Doc isn't even a good announcer and they had them on the A team right out the gate. There is a SEVERE lack of talented announcers across the league. The local guys who do every game are wayyyyyy better than nationally televised games. It's a joke.
