Some conservatives say that Reagan is overrated. They are wrong.

eh yes and no. I think he's overrated in that people think that he's flawless and was the most right wing dude in office (after all he did increase immigration and even illegal immigration and did increase the debt). But he also defeated the ussr and breathed new life into America for the next 20 to 30 years (and also the conservative movement). He's a great president. Maybe overrated relative to what his fanboys thought of him but still better than most presidents (only Trump is better in my view). He's still 2nd place of presidents post WW2 tho.

Most "conservatives" dont have the capacity to make a single criticism of the political actor Reagan. Nearly all give him a pass for the mistakes of doubling the national debt and granting amnesty to 3 million illegals in 1986. That deal single handedly proved he sold out the founding stock European Americans to his handlers, considering the only reason he lazily granted amnesty was in a futile attempt to negotiate and put forth some form of immigration reform bill which never happened, as planned. Reagan, like Trump granting amnesty to nearly 2 million illegals in 2018, was just protecting this criminal federal government's bottom line. No one should be surprised America's population has more than doubled since 1990, as the ballooning of America is the only thread keeping together this synthetic economy, no different than China. America: land of legal human trafficking and the home of eternal economic exploitation.

They called Reagan a racist also. The media really exposed their bias and took the name calling to a whole new level with Trump. The next Republican candidate will need to push back as hard as Trump did. The real southern strategy was to project the racist past of the democrat party onto the Republicans.

@@johnnyd6715, something we should remember is that early American Socialists/Communists were the largest pro-Slavery political bloc, especially in the intellectual ecosphere. Instead of abolishing slavery, they argued against anti-slavery, abolitionist intellectuals such as the black, liberty-minded Frederick Douglass. Instead of abolition, the Communist scumbags wanted it to become an official institution of the U.S. Government, that all citizens were to be owned and enslaved by the State, in the same manner as those hellholes North Korea and so many others. They wanted us to be a Platonian Republic, as Plato’s city-state described in his, oft-cited by the Soviets and other Communist ideologues, Republic, where all property is collectively owned, and all production is commanded by the government, whereby the citizenry has no rights whatsoever, not even to choose what labor they’d perform. They wanted self-ownership rejected in favor of slavery. And what’s the Democratic Party full of now? A bunch of command-economy style Socialists, who across time have continuously eroded our rights of self-ownership to the point they’re now forcing owners of residential property to house people without compensation, essentially collectivizing their property. We all know if they get their way we will be reduced to nothing more than cattle to the state.

Taiwan is also kind of the opposite to communism Per capita and the average income (exclude top/bottom 10%) is also a few times higher Free market is better (but regulation such as anti-trust/monopoly should be enforced and this can be extended to dual monopoly *unless its cutting edge at the global scale where it help increase the nation's capability) 1:59 When was the time when we last saw presidential debates that have your opponent smiling when he (Reagan) made a quick one-two combo punch ("youth and *inexperience*). Most that I remember of many nations (including us) is spamming each other for points or etc tactics. Reagan is definitely one of the few president that made America Great

Next to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, IMHO Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Presidents ever to live in the White House, a real blessing to America. 🇺🇸👍🏻

Hope is in those that know how to utilize the U.S. constitution and those mirrored state constitution to keep Liberty from eroding a Moreau and just ppl. . Educated in the Understanding on libertarianism and conservative ideals to promote prosperity and happiness... Hope floats by the ppl who wheeled these virtues, Not by those who reject the freedoms that r enshrined by empty promises of hope. Those r the deceivers that God talks about. .. Beware the wolf

We've had two presidents who used to be actors. Who is the next actor running for president? Clint Eastwood is too old and he has had enough of politics!

You are a fool. You must like interest rates for a home at 18%, inflation at double digits, unemployment also in double digits, and a weak military. Hang on, if Biden/Harris remain in the WH you'll get your wish.
