I need you to get the ebay app or start an Amazon account and on your free time go to yard sales, thrift stores etc.. Secretly look up items you find at yard sales on the eBay app. If you find that item at a yard sale for $6 and it sells on eBay for say $14 buy it, list it and collect profit. Repeat process and don't give up. It's called capitalism. It's hard in the USA because we have democrats who preach socialism. But capitalism is buying something for less and finding a buyer who will pay more, because maybe where they are they cannot find what you have. Have fun with it. You're already sleeping in a car. So fucking take a gamble and don't stop. I built my bankroll through ebay.

I just got around to watching this today. Your story is very touching and inspiring. Although I was never homeless, I truly understand the struggle of not having enough to make ends meet. I love the part when you said you have to be alone and reflect on what you really want in life. Once I did that, things started to change for me. I'm really happy for you and your family. Dude there's a difference between living in your car or on the streets because you're trying to challenge yourself or because you have no choice. If you want to try it again just to push yourself but knowing you have a house to go back to, you won't learn much.

I love struggle stories. I remember I felt I was on top with a great car, great place, great job, and it all came crashing down at age 25. In 2006 I crashed my car, I had to pay 20k . In 2008, I got audited by IRS for $9k. I had about 3k in credit cards. I couldn’t afford to live in a apt, I also didn’t want to go to my parents so I got a hoopty and lived in it. I got a 2nd job and worked hard from there. Pinching pennies and always walking with my head down to see if I could find change on the floor. I was glad for my mistakes, it turned me into an adult. The day You stop making mistakes is the day you stop learning.

I was kicked out at 16 by my brothers dad, I graduated high school because I promised my mom I would. The 2 years I was an "independent student" only a handful of people knew but damn did it make me appreciate everything in life. Went from living in a car before it was towed, to living in abandon buildings, to living in a pretty big house but my kids know that everything should be appreciated. I tell my kids I went through it so you don't have to.

Reyes, just got realer than real. Life stories show character and reasoning. I am about to go on a big road trip in a couple days, and I will move myself at the end of it based on where I find is right for me. I need this now, I am going back to school and starting my business, I need something too challenge myself THIS YEAR! This is timed perfectly for me. My situation is not a struggle like that, but the goal is something like your's.

McDonald's and burger king always hire. But man I really needed a job and burger king hired me but I couldn't accept that job 4 hours a day 3 days a week was not good. So I went to construction and man the pay was 18 an hour thank God I didn't take bk job.

This has happened to one of my friends. He was homeless before high school ended and I let him stay in my apartment until he got back on his feet. Now he is very successful and I am glad I helped him not only because he is my friend and it feels good to have saved him but he also gives me money when I “need” it and we do some cool stuff together lol

Set Small achievable goals and climb the ladder of success step by step. And remember success is not the materials you gain in life. Happiness is knowing your bills are paid on time. The rest is icing on the cake.

Man... thanks for sharing this! I’m 25 right now and I’m going through something similar. I’m not homeless thank god, but I have my own personal issues and have a lot of unnecessary debt and I’m just trying to push through. But I have been focusing on myself more and my attitude has changed a ton and I’m thinking a lot more positive and I’m getting things DONE.
