This makes me sad, because in my opnion Asol has one of the most beautiful designs of the game.

A Sol is the most disapointing release I ever got to witness... His concept was badass, his music theme was out of this world, in his trailer he was crushing stars between his fingers. In game he plays with balls and spit on you for a chunk of damage with his ult

I don't even play Aurelion Sol and I'm on the side that they should revert his W change. If way more popular champions went through a wave of feedback that said "undo a change that alienated the character's playerbase" and Riot actually reverted those changes, there's no reason ASol should still be left this distraught. Let the seventeen people that mastered his kit have fun again.

Everytime I try to make honest feedback on reddit that isnt possitive about Riot, it gets deleted by mods most of the time. They closed forums and in reddit they dont let players say feedback.

All companies suffer from the "only esports matter" where they only care about esports. That's why most players got away with playing garen yuumi bot for the longest time until esports did it.

I always loved old asol but new is the definition of clunky, I'd love if they tried to give him the urgot W treatment where at rank 5 you can toogle the skill.

When I first started playing I immediately gravitated (pardon the pun) towards the space dragon for one simple reason: The sass that this boy brings to the table.

When starting League, I immediately fell in love with ASol's playstyle. It was actually the only champion in the game that I felt truely resonated with me. I never found him clunky, at all. When his rework came, I tried others champions... Warwick and Jhin came pretty close to being my new mains but they never felt as... Home, as Aurelion Sol. His passive movement speed on E was super fun but I could live without it. His W rework, not so much. It sucked out all the ejoyment I had in the champion. Reverting that one change would be enough to make me come back, both in that champion, and in the game in general.

Sol still hasnt been reverted? Holy shit, I quit playing 1 year ago and I remember how they destroyed that champion’s identity. He was so cool, and watching a skilled Sol was amazing.

To put it simply, they kind of ruined his identity and didn't bother opting for a revert when the issues he had left next season. Can we agree we would rather have the old Aurelion back for the sacrifice of his roaming?

Just revert his W. All 5 Sol mains will finally be happy, everyone else will continue not playing him, and order will be restored in the world.

Riot won't care about Aurelion because he is not popular, they have shown that they are willing to fuck over a player base because of that. (Look at Aatrox rework)

As a retired 1 million points ASol OTP: thanks for making his problems visible to the community. A revert would be the dream, but I don't think it's happening. At least I would love to see changes to make him more fun to play, and powerful.

You should do Varus next. This champion surprisingly has a lot of history and over the years with many changes his identity/character comes into question.

I don't main or even play Aurelion sol, but I just want him to be the badass cosmic dragon that he deserves to be.

As unique as he is, I really hate how riot botched ASol thematically. Just at him in LoR, as a comparison.

This change was my final straw for riot. He was one of my favorite champions to play and I lost so much enjoyment out of being that boop king in team fights. As the only Asol player in my friend group, he was always a threat when we did custom games to the point people had notepads with my league name and Asol written down. I was not amazing by any means but no one knew how to play against him and they resorted to panicked and forced playmaking which never worked well. Mastering him was incredibly rewarding. One day it just clicked. I really hope they revert the changes but I doubt they will. Thank you for an amazing video about a small community.

What happened? A niche champion made for a niche role excelled at what he was designed to do and that was not ok for Riot

As a Aurelion Sol main for the past 3 years all i can say is that season 11 is probably the worst one for him, literally every item is bad on him and he's losing to every matchup, in last season he had a really strong meta with electrocute and glp but now Sol is totally useless without any place in league, it's kinda sad to see that good concept with unique mechanics be thrown to the trash can by riot

Remember when Riot completely REMOVED Twisted Treeline? Yeah, I'm still trying to get back into the game since then. I was an avid 3v3 player (literally only played 3v3s for almost 4 years). I feel betrayed and ignored by Riot.

This video braught me some solace. As an avid A-Sol main, this was comforting to know that at least a few hundred thousand people know about the desolation riot did to this champ.

Ive always been good with asol, even after the rework. I did like the burstiness of the new rework, but like most I missed the sustained damage. In my opinion, aurelion sol would be better off reverted or tweaked better than what was given. One major thought if youre not going to give him his sustained damage then have his w add more stars every time he levels up his r, similar to what happens in ure but not as crazily. Another idea is make it to where the rotation of the star (passively and actively) increases every 100 AP, not majorly just enough to make a difference late game. His q as of now is lovely but its difficult to generate the size requirement in most gameplay, and for when you do get it to grand size, the damage is disappointing. Like the stun, it would be nice if the damage ramped up a little bit the bigger the star went. His e, for the love of god, a damn fish on a stick gets invulnerability but a dragon flying high over the stage is literally smacked out of the sky? Wtf? I wouldnt mind the distance traveled be shorter, I mean I rarely jumped that far, mostly did to get to areas faster. A cool thing to add would be something like start all. When he reaches his destination or is cut out early, he makes impact with the ground, dealing area of effect and slowing enemies. And then his r. I would go with turning it to have a similar effect as the everfrost item with a conic range and a line where its most effective. Keep the conic rance to the maximum that is currently there, but extend the bar range out just a little bit more for a spicier trickshot. Also the return of the movement passive would be appreciated. I dont understand why that was removed at all, you literally had to move in a straight line...

I didn't know asol was ever OP. He's universally been considered a troll pick and a failure in champ design. Even the stick figure spotlight on the world stage portrayed him as a complete joke

Lowkey, I think that they wanted to make asol more skill expressive. Technically, yea with the new W, he is more skill expressive. However, asol is already so niche that they didnt need to do that

to be honest, i really enjoyed playing A.Sol before the rework.. the things i liked is his Q change, where you can tap it quickly to stun champs near you.. and his E where it's not charges based on how you move..

Honestly when I first saw A Sol, I immediately thought of IO of Dota 2 since both have those spiraling orbs around them, the diff is IOs is much more manageable since it goes in and out, in which I think A Sols stars should be also like that too...

I've recently picked him up and I'm having a lot of fun learning him, I feel like he's one of the few out of the box champions League has released and is this game's version of Abathur or the Vikings in hots or Oracle or Earth Spirit in dota. Also, the bit about the champion being changed hit me, I've been missing old Urgot ever since the rework and new Urgot is just way too different. I'd love for them to do a revert and slight rework to make him less of a "useless or absurdly overbearing" like he used to be but alas, I'll probably never see him again
