As A Roblox Bedwars Player, Its a great game. Its Enjoying and also has a great community. I can't say otherwise for Hypixel, I've played both versions But Roblox Bedwars Stands out, It's the only Roblox Game i play 😅 I think that both teams are great.

as a roblox player, it’s really funny to me when i see minecraft players freak out about roblox. like at 4:03 how some kid says hypixel should sue roblox. first off they should sue the person who made the roblox game, not the entirety of roblox. and 2nd they seem to ignore the fact that other minecraft servers steal hypixels gamemodes.

I used to play islands, stopped playing around the duping (i streamed a bit of that and some random guy came into my stream and gave me like 600 of the best weapon in the game, and because of the wipe i lost not only that 600 of the weapon but my original one that wasn't duped too), took a bit of a break from roblox and then came back and started playing bedwars, and now i play some roblox bedwars and a lot of minecraft skyblock. I remember seeing when islands was taken down and came back up as islands instead of skyblox, a screenshot of hypixel (simon not like the hypixel twitter (i dont use twitter so i dont even know if there is an official hypixel twitter or not)) saying that he thinks its cool that people take their ideas and adapt them on to other platforms.

KZfaqr of this roblox game for 3 years here, in my opinion the beta days was 10000% a copy of the minecraft version and skyblock is definitely stolen (Islands was closed many times due to its name having copyrighted). After about the 6th season the gameplay has drastically changed with its system and kits that its a completely different game than the minecraft one. The roblox version has many kits (abilities) such as 1 kill = more damage, triple shot sniper, eat orb = gain 800 hp, have flame thrower, have fire bombs, climb walls, 1 kill = tons of loot and so on. Roblox has much much faster building and sort of the bedrock minecraft building to it along with its 3rd person mode changing everything. Theres difference mechanics such as guardians spawning around diamond and emerald generators, bosses spawning, bosses that give you abilities, and now more recently there are new mechanics that is voted on for each round such as hatch a dragon egg, all beds break and the map falls apart after 12 minutes, faster generators, merchants spawning with op items to buy, glitched enchantments, snow cones (eat = buffs) Nowdays just hop into a minecraft version then the roblox one and it feels like a completely different game in everyway

I wouldn’t say Islands or Bedwars flat out “copied” Minecraft. I have played both Roblox and Minecraft and if you get past the general early-game of Islands it is pretty different. It has a lot of new areas and items, including pets. As for bedwars, admittedly it is pretty similar but I think kits and the general gameplay differentiates it enough to the Minecraft version.

I hope Simon starts doing more updates to hypixel bedwars, they've already taken steps in the right direction with the Slumber hotel and rotating items

Bedwars was first Introduced on the German GommeHD Server on 2014 based on the old Game of Aero.

I was a Roblox bedwars "og" but as the updates went by it got more p2w and sweatier (not even mentoning the hacker problem) i really enyojed the game. But now its only played by sweats and people who spent thousands of money on it. But the fact that a stolen game is one of the most popular pvp game on roblox, says alot

Islands, Roblox and SkyWars are all flat out copies of Minecraft and kids are like "Roblox version is better" Also kids would prefer Roblox bedwars as its way easier to play, option to run on mobile and they prolly not allowed to Purchase Java.

bro calm down there's currently 40k people playing roblox bedwars

Bedwars attracts a player count of 40-50k while minecraft bedwars can't even get 10k. Minecraft bedwars has practically no updates and fr roblox bedwars has updates every week with a ton of new content. When a season in bedwars releases, the play count goes from 40 to 60-75k players instantly. Roblox bedwars will not die for atleast the next 3-4 years so we can expect to get good content on it from youtubers looking for lots of content and something new. KZfaqrs like TanqR, get on average 80 to 200k views a day or the smaller youtubers about 15-20k views which is still a lot. Viral videos on roblox bedwars can get till 4-5m views, minecraft doesn't even have viral videos anymore, not without much content.

Yeah Roblox Bedwars is great and all but I feel like it will never reach the community that Hypixel have. Roblox Bedwars is like something that you play on for 15 minutes max and switch to another game on Roblox

I still remember when Bedwars and Skyblock in Hypixel was neck to neck in player counts. Now Skyblock is almost always 10x the player count of Bedwars. It makes sense tho, Skyblock receives updates every week almost so yeah.

As a Roblox Islands creator, Roblox, nor Easy Games stole anything. It was a concept that inspired these games.

Bro roblox has become a dang spent money sim at this point u wouldn’t understand since u don’t play Roblox but u can try it, but the problem is that there are a lot of game with the word “simulator” in it, there are all the same crap (train your “object in game”, fight npcs with an autoclicker, gamble with robux eggs, and when the game gets too hard leave ur pc burning overnight 💀)

I understand that it's infuriating to have roblox steal your game but as a player of both i can safely say that the only similarity is the basic 'bed to respawn' part of it. Additionally, the game on roblox brought the bedwars genre to people who can't afford minecraft. Great video btw!

They before created a Skyblock ripoff named "Skyblock" but after got renamed to "Skyblox" and after renamed to "Islands". By the way, the games aren't created by the ROBLOX CEO but another dev team, since ROBLOX lets you create games (yeah I also create games in ROBLOX but sobbing since there are many ripoffs or garbage in there).

edit: now that i watched the video ok yeah its high quality not just saying 'oMg bEdWarS wAs StoLeN fRom HypIxEl' but my comment still has a point and people who think bedwars was stolen from hypixel should read it bruh the amount of people who think hypixel made bedwars is dumb.... the original mini game was made by xisumavoid and servers really liked the concept so the revamped it and used it, and idk which server was first to use it but no one gives him credit any more, so hypixel bedwars and roblox bedwars are equally as bad in the 'stole the idea without credit' point
