Well put. He said he threw his life at it. As someone who values health, I cannot agree that it was the right thing to do. The way you put it here, I can understand it as valiant, but I wouldn't want to feed a leo's ego who would put himself into crisis 3x and bring himself so very close to death before submitting to the doctor and to the rest he needed... Sadhguru is playing a long game and I hope he wont be throwing his life at any of these events like that again 💔 We all know Shivaya 𓈗📿🙏🏽 Peace and Health

OMG! This is unbelievable. The German lady has no accent that a foreign born person usually acquires. Obviously she has learnt Sanskrit from an excellent teacher. The clarity of her pronunciation is simply astounding. Sadguru said that she is always cheerful and happy; perhaps because she can not see the misery prevalent all around us. And in that respect she is shielded. I will make effort to learn more about her. I am deeply impressed. Thank you Sadguru for introducing such an inspiring person to us. 5:24 Alakh Niranjana, ghili ghili gunjana Bhava bhaya bhanjana, bairagi.. Dada dada bandanu, dvaradi nindanu Bhiksheyu endanu, aa jogi.. A yogi comes infront of a house which belongs to a rich married lady. The yogi comes chanting, "Alakh Niranjan" and asks for alms standing at the front door. Chandana Charchita, Bhasmodvarchita Bandhura Sundara Sanyasi.. With Sandalwood paste and sacred ash anointed on his body, he was a handsomely beautiful saint to view. Alakh Niranjana, ghili ghili gunjana Bhava bhaya bhanjana, bairagi.. The name chanting of the divine - "Alakh Niranjan", who reedems one who chants his name from the cycle of birth and death and removes the fear of suffering and thus makes one wholly detached from worldly illusions and desires. Tayiye tegeduko, ennuta jogiyu neerege thaliya, kottida Thaliya taladali, thala thala holeyuva, kannuga leradanu ittidda.. "Tayi" means mother. He says, "Mother, please take this". At the bottom of that bowl, were placed his own two sparkling eyes which he had plucked out by himself. Tayiye ninneya, dinanee ninneya kannina bannane, madidda Garatiya goriya, kattida togalina aa kan, kittido tandihenu.. He says "Mother, yesterday you had spoken so admiringly of my eyes. So, here i give them to you." Alakh Niranjana, Alakh Niranjana nadedenu nirvyathe aa jogi.. Togalina kanbali yindali gnyanada olegan tereyisi kurudagi.. And then, chanting "Alakh Niranjana", he simply moves on from the house without any tinge of sorrow on his face. By giving up his physical external eyes which she thought so highly of, he has opened up her internal eye, her eye of the knowledge of the self. He has given her insight into life and tuned her in to experience the bliss of life's dance. 👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣 "Alakh Niranjan" is a Kannada poem recounting a poignant folktale about a saint from Gorakhpur. It was composed by Pandharinathacharya Galagali. Thank you for that story, Sadhguru! I am being called to be a teacher of sorts in this lifetime, i realize that is the path i have been put on, but i dont think i will become a yogi this time! The story made me cry. It made me realize to be a good teacher having knowledge to share is a prerequisite, but having a love for others than is bigger than the love for oneself is the biggest requirment to being a good teacher!! Celebrate! When she finally overcame her fear and looked with eyes of love she earned the eyes of love. Her alms given over many times, sometimes with pace and others in a daze. But each time the eyes of love were at her door she answered with alms to give, and more. Now those eyes of hers are love. The seeker went on as before, eyes are not needed where he journeys forth. When I looked in fear, I saw my fears. When I looked in anger, I saw my enemy. When I looked in shame I saw my retribution. When I looked in ego, I saw myself. When I looked in love I saw All and became all. The jewel in creation's rings, physical events, in time's ripples become isometric sets. Eventually, love becomes cause and effect.

But the essence was something else here... Here the realised yogi - plucked his eyes out and gave it to her - so that she realises how she is caught up in puny realm of love/lust... He gave up his vision - so that her inner vision opens up... . "It is eyes that you fell in love with right - here: take my eyes" kind-of... Indicating how puny is her expression of falling in love with (just) the 'eyes'... Whereas love is something of much more depth than mere physicality... And also that love itself in itself is very limited... . So for her to realise this - he gave his eyes out... It'd have made her realise: what she longed for - ultimately meant nothing... Because she technically got the object of her love, but then what? Even if he offered his body and emotions - then what? Ultimately it is going to perish... Like the fate of the eyes... . Rewatch the video with this context, it'll touch you much more deeply 😊🙏🏻 Sadhguru is like that Yogi for us, willing to give himself up - for our realisation 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
