Dr S Karthick, popularly known as 'Ghatam Karthick' has traveled all over the world with his "Ghatam", the wonder pot performing in various prestigious venues including the ‘United Nations’.
He leads the percussion based Indian musical ensemble “heArtbeat” which is internationally renowned. He also records and performs prolifically in settings as varied as traditional Indian classical music, jazz, rock, blues, flamenco and fusion.
He was blessed to perform in Prasanthi Nilayam during the Guru Poornima celebrations on July 3, 2023. This conversation was recorded with him prior to that performance in Sai Kulwant Hall.

As Bishu mentioned at the beginning most of us didn't know that Ghatam Karthik is an ardent devotee of Swami from his childhood and he is a Balvikas student too. It is àn opportunity given by the SSSMC to this great personality and his talents and active participation in Sai mission such as singing bhajans, composing songs, seva activities etc were highlighted. A slight touch of kanatic music by Karthik enhanced the standard of this interview.

One of the best interviews I've heard/watched in recent times. I initially started watching thinking I would watch only for about 10 minutes or so and watch the rest later but I was so engrossed that I continued watching for almost an hour. A very lively yet thought-provoking interview with one of the legends from our great country of Bharat. Thank you Sir for candidly sharing your experiences with Bhagawan. Om Sai ram.I was lucky to be there on the Gurupoornima evening program in Sai Kulwant hall. I really got mesmarised by his variety entertainment. I thought only Gadam play how we will enjoy. But that mandolin,keyboard,Mridangam and Ginjira team with him and also his mesmaric voice and songs really lifted me to a different world. True devotee of Bhaghvan. I have seen so many programs in Saibkulwanth hall. This is second one I enjoyed fully. First one by a young Karnatic musician in one of the Bhaghvans birthday. He mesmarised with continuous ragam. I don't remember his name. Very young chap. This heart beat team is all round happiness to listen,hear his words,participating with claps. That Gingira person solo was extraordinary. Mandolin excellent. Mridangam as father son. He should have given solo chance for keyboard also. Great team. May Bhaghvan bless this heart beat team.They should include real drums also for more Thalam to make it for western audience and also a guitar. Can I get any wup no of Mr Kk arthik to appreciate him

I was facing amputation but Doctors and Swami saved me and has allowed to perform Ghatam and entertain all of you and also do the thing what I love the most - Ghatam & Music
