It all starts with prime cuts of beef that end up going somewhere else and are never used in hot dogs. Then quick cut to some yellowy brown sludge that is being ground up and turned into some concrete pudding. Then cut to another image where they are magically sausage links. This video was worse than useless it showed nothing other than some quick flybys of bologna and summer sausage being squeezed into tubes. What it did show is frankly deceptive. The bit about the buns was pretty cool though until it became clear that these were huge stupid buns that you'd make hoagies out of. Hardly would anyone with a llck of sense would call a hot dog bun. Deceptive.

I noticed too that they cut from showing that sludge to where the fully made hotdog tubes were coming out of machine. They didn't show us how they made the tubes, if they put the sludge into them or what. I agree with you that they cut scenes and didn't show everything. As for the buns, I've bought those buns before, they're roll and butter buns, they're not too bad, but you're right that they're not hot dog buns.

@@alvexok5523 The " sludge " is simply emulsified meat product regardless of whether it be beef, pork or poultry. The quality of the so called sludge is basically no different than the ground beef you would buy in any meat market. Read the labels !! ,, check the list of ingredients as I always do. I totally avoid buying any processed meat products ( eg : wieners / hot dogs ) that contain mechanically deboned meats and / or meat by products.

It's not just beef, or beef/pork/chicken ground all the way to a paste like it appeared here, there are other fillers (as labels say, and that they're processed, like you said). But this video kept cutting to new parts of the manufacturing and not showing us everything, I share your annoyance with that. I'll take some of those rolls from this video, warm em up with butter, but I'll pass on the dogs

And when it comes to halal I completely refuse to buy meat products from markets / stores that handle halal meats.
