Honestly, my only problem with this story line is that after Tommy and Wilbur were banished and it looked like a the whole world was against them. Turns out half of the server is now "fighting Schlatt from within" and "helping them out from the shadows ". I get it, most ppl (with the exception of JSchlatt ofc) wouldn't want to play the bad guy. Techno said it best himself, if the server keeps this up, the final fight will just be everyone in the server turning on Schlatt, wich would be a bit anticlimactic. But hey, who knows... Maybe a certain... swine, will change sides... I'm interested in seeing how this will continue.

A indepth political analysis of the L'Manberg 2020 election: After the loss of the Great SMP War of Independence, L'Manberg was left in state of quasi-independence while still being influenced by Dream SMP. The loss of the war caused many L'Manbergian's to loss faith in President Wilbur Soot, and were calling for a general election In a effort to regain support and consolidate his political power, President Soot called a election, but as his party was in control of the voting system, he rigged the ballots to ensure his party remained in power. However before the ballot was closed, Quackity, a influential political figure with a large following in L'Manberg, accused Soot of corruption and announced his run for president with his party, SWAG2020. Soon after the debates where held, where many controversies arose. Firstly Quackity announced that GeorgeNotFound, the heir of Dream SMP, would be his running mate. This divided L'Manbergians, as many felt that this move and his comments about opening of the borders was just a ploy of DreamSMP to exert control and, possibly re-annex L'Manberg. Secondly Fundy, Wilbur Soot's own son, endorsed Quackity, causing Soot's supporters to loose further confidence in his ability as a leader. During the debate, both Quackity and GeorgeNotFound accused Wilbur of political corruption, of being a Warmonger, as they believed he starting the SMP war for his own personal gain, and for racism towards Americans, a minority group in L'Manberg. Conversely, Soot accused SWAG of being influenced by Dream SMP to reassert it's control over L'Manberg, and loose it's independence. The debate quickly became heated after Soot's Vice President, Tommyinit, went into a extremely controversial speech at the debate. Soon the debate feel into chaos, with the debate moderator being changed multiple times and even a firearm was discharged at Wilbur Soot. The debate and all of it's controversies left many L'Manbergians in out rage at both the SWAG and POG parties, and the electoral system. Soon after the debates, both the POG and SWAG parties held a open forum to announce their endorsements. This still had it's fair share of controversies however. Firstly, after seeing the chaos of the political and electoral system, Fundy announced his own bid for the presidency, with Nikkichu, who Soot had a relationship with as documented by many "cute moment videos", as his running mate. This split the votes of both the POG and SWAG party's. Fundy, as the owner of a bakery, campaigned on the promise of promoting small business. However due to his switching of political stances leading up to the election, many thought Fundy was only running for president to promote his own business. The SWAG party further suffered, as GeorgeNotFound did not show up to the endorsement, and the party gathered no endorsements at all. The POG capitalized on this by announcing its 2 endorsements. One of this was Vikkstar, a well known public figure. After his endorsement, POG appeared to have had the election in the bag. Then JSchlatt came. JSchlatt was a extremely powerful and influential figure in the land of SMP, whose was only rivaled by the leaders of the SMP's in terms of power. Schlatt was eventually exilled from the SMP by Dream, but Tommyinit offered him asylum in L'Manberg in exchange of backing POG. As Schlatt is CEO of Schlatt & Co., the company that created the famous crypto currency of Schlattcoin, Wilbur was hoping to use Schlatt's popularity and money to bankroll his campaign. However when Schlatt took the stage, instead of endorsing Wilbur, Schlatt unveiled numerous scandals by both Wilbur and GeorgeNotFound. He claimed that the democratic system had failed the people of L'Manberg and that he would run as a independent candidate for the Presidency. Wilbur, at first, bared Schlatt from running and hoped Schatt would become a obscure political force, but this back fired on him tremendously. This move caused much of L'Manberg's citizens to demand a reorganization of government, as they had just seen President Soot bare a popular figure from running for office. Schlatt took advantage of this and established himself as a populist leader and stormed the forum in a small revolt against Soot and Quackity, and used a gun, rumoured to be given to him by Dream, and shot the Secretary of State, Tubbo. This forced Wilbur, Quackity, and Tommy to take refuge in the fortress of Casa de Portus. However Schlatt assaulted the fort with massed fire power of his big gun and chemical weapons, forcing the 3 political figures to flee the fort, with both Wilbur and Tommy being injured in the escape. This lead to a truce between the candidates and Schlatt, resulting in Schlatt being allowed to run. Schlatt's revolt, coupled with the ever declining faith in the other 3 parties and the election system, caused Schlatt to gain a flood of support, further drawing voters away from both POG and SWAG. Apon seeing the collapse of both of their voting basses, Wilbur offered Quackity a deal. The two of them would form a coalition government incase of a Schlatt victory. However Quackity was sceptical of the deal as it was conditional on Schatt winning. As his party was down in the polls Quackity believed that even if Schallt lost, he was not confident his party would receive the amount needed to beat Wilbur. Schallt got wind of this deal and also offered Quackity to form a coalition government, but with no strings attached and a bribe of a six figure salary. Quackity accepted Schlatt's offer and backed Schlatt as president. This move drove even further support to Schlatt, as now all of Quackity's supporters were now backing Schlatt and, as Quackity would be his Vice President, limit GeorgeNotFound's power in the administrations, which many L'Manbergians viewed was attempt of DreamSMP of controlling L'Manberg. When the election was called it was descovered that their was mass voter fraud, with up to a third the votes being fraudulent. Many suspected Fundy of being the perpetrator, as he was a know coder and most of the fake votes were for COCONUT2020. The results came in with the Schlatt-Quackity coalition winning by 1% of the vote; Schlatt-Quackity having 46%, POG 45%, and COCONUT with 9%. Using the public's support of government reform and the growing hated of Wilbur Soot, Schlatt declared the reorganization of L'Manberg into the first SMP empire. He then revoked the citizenship of Wilbur and Tommy, ordering Tubbo to organize a manhunt for their crimes against L'Manberg. Schlatt then ordered the destruction of the wall around L'Manberg, rejecting the treaty of the SMP War. This was due to his policy of territory expansion and his promotion of free trade. Now in exile and on there run from L'Manberg, Wilbur and Tommy contacted Technoblade, a renowned minecraft champion. As he was a old partner of Wilbur's since before the war, he joined Wilbur in organizing a rebellion against Emperor Jonathon A. Schlatt. This has been a in-depth analysis of the political chaos of L'Manberg leading up to the establishment of the Schlatt Empire. Dated September 29th, 2020.
