Probably my favorite part of the season as it released, his design and everything about him was absolutely perfect.

BenthoBricks is real! I feel like Vania and Bentho are similar characters, as they serve similar roles in their Season, with Bentho being better executed in the long run. Because the scene were Vania has to convince the Soldiers that her father is evil never happened, even though it should be a important scene for the story and her character. Fire Video 🔥

One of my favorite Benthomaar moments has gotta be his final fight with Kalmaar. He’s always been a nice guy, but when his father died and realized how evil his brother was Bentho let out everything and sought revenge.

I do love Benthomaar, but I'd also go to bat for Okino as being one of the show's best side characters. In only four episodes he's given a full arc with more depth than a lot of characters get in an entire season

Benthomaar REALLY needs to return! And what better than Dragons Rising! I feel like they have SOOO much more to offer with Benthomaar’s character in Dragons Rising! The last we’ve heard or seen of Bentho, he was the ruler of Merlopia. But after the Merge, we haven’t heard a thing about the Sea Kingdom or him, unlike Shintaro that has been mentioned several times and probably wasn’t moved/effected by the Merge. Also, we have been seeing a lot of Merlopian people now living in Ninjago and other areas, indicating that Something must have happened to Merlopia and their King. Did Merlopia disappear? Was it destroyed? Is Benthomaar still ALIVE? Questions that I feel should be answered in Dragons Rising in the form of bringing Benthomaar back as a helpful side character to the ninja once again. (Maybe Dragons Rising can have Bentho meet up with Cole and help him, or even be the one to help P.I.X.A.L get back to her team. (I highly doubt P.I.X.A.L is going to be main characterized, but hey, one can dream, right? 😅) I feel that Bentho can have a REALLY compelling story arc in Dragons Rising. Imagine it for a second-Benthomaar has taken the place of his father as ruler of Merlopia right after giving up hope of finding Nya. Later, finding she is back and fighting the Crystal King’s army. He helps and peace is restored for Ninjago. Now, he just has to prove himself as a good and righteous King, but then the Merge hits. It’s very likely that Merlopia probably didn’t survive, and Bentho had to watch as the home he grew up in with his father is taken away from him… After the Merge, it’s very likely Benthomaar helped the Merlopians left to come to Ninjago, and to seek out his friends, the ninja for help only to find out that the ninja are gone and Ninjago is completely different from what he remembers… All this would definitely hurt Bentho in more ways than one, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Benthomaar actually decided to try to go and find the ninja. (He already lost his father forever, and lost a dear friend that he gave up on before, now-he’s told that the only true family he ever had is gone-but instead of giving up on them like he did on Nya-this time, he’ll go search for them, and he won’t lose hope of finding them like he did before… (I feel this is the best way of bringing Bentho back into the show, but what do you guys think? 😅)

I always liked Benthomaar, but I also used to feel like he was a little generic, so whenever I thought of Seabound, I thought of its great story, great villain, great setting and great action, but not of him. Now, I see the story he represents and through a single 12-minute-video, he has probably reached my Top 10 Ninjago character list. I haven't seen DR part 2 yet, but I hope they bring him back eventually - Benthomaar deserves better than getting no lines in Crystalized. (In fact, I am still working on a Crystalized rewrite where Benthomaar gets his own Grieving Nya arc and a huge supporting role.)

Seabound is a great season. I feel like it’s been overshadowed by the controversy surrounding Crystalized and the praise that Dragons Rising Season 1 is getting, and that’s understandable but kinda sad

This season was in all honesty very cool ! Benthomaar is one of the reason I enjoyed this season as much as I did. Even with the screen time he has, he is able to be developed in a satisfying way.

People got angry at crystallised for not giving closure to benthoomaar, but i honestly think that was seabounds job. In the episode where kalmaar gives them the fake amulet i think bentho should have asserted his kingship and then returned for the last episodes with the army.

Benthomaar isn't a character I've thought too much about but yeah, he's really effective in having a more personal conflict with Kalmaar. He's personally involved in the conflict in a way other side characters don't quite reach. I still want to represent Ronin, he's gotta be up there as one of my favourite side characters. I love how he influenced Nya's thinking during Possession, and his rather flexible morals and role depending on what the season needs him to be.

Hello random person on the internet who enjoys lego ninjago. As a fellow internet user who happens to enjoy the concept of anthropomorphic animals, I'd like to know your onion on the lego serries "Legends of chima", as it's somewhat loosely tied with ninjago and was meant to be its replacement. I've heard a lot of opinions raging from "It was fine" to "It was utter garbage". I personally think the series was mostly fine, but had its share of problems, but I'd like to know your onion on it.

I can’t help but hear the ORAS Music. Bentho would definitely use water type Pokémon, especially Mudkip (Both can be sweet little fellows but can pack a punch)

Bentho immediately made it back then with the release of Seabound to my favorite Side Character and continous to hold that position till today 🤗
