So happy to see short content ranking! The insanely long, mostly unhelpful posts were driving me crazy. I mean it became necessary to add a "jump to recipe" or "jump to answer" button at the top of the page just to avoid the 30 second long scroll (that took 10x longer than it should due to the ads between every paragraph). This is exactly why I stopped reading/listening to books too. Everyone was spinning a 10 page book into a 300 page book just to make it look valuable😑 From your example at the beginning, it sounds like the google is looking for multiple types of responses to show people (1 long, 1 short, 1 technical etc...), so mixing it up or write a few different version might be a good strategy.

I just started learning SEO this year but I’ve always searched for information that was quick and to the point. Depending on what I’m looking for, there are times to go in deep and follow the rabbit holes, but I can see this being a trend for people. Never understood the point of pillar posts w 3000-5000 words. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay too long on a page like that unless I had a MAJOR interest in it.
