had a convo with someone today - response was exactly as Tim described. prayer is key. example is key. cimpelling argument less so, in my view.

As if God's Word isn't the same yesterday today and forever. We conform to It. It does not conform to us. We use our Holy Spirit inspired discernment regarding the presentation but NEVER water down Truth, for the sake of all parties.

When people say "I'm spiritual, but not religious" --- are really secular? I've found very few non-Christians - less than 1 out of ten - to be truly secular.

So true, sharing the Gospel to fake Christians are much harder than to non-Christians, even devout followers of other religion.

I know these guys must have read Augustine's "City of God" sometime in their lives. How, after reading that work and taking it to heart, can they honestly say that the lessons to be learned from that time is in any way different from our own. Maybe Mr. Moore, more so than the others needs to go back and read it again and see how contemporary Augustine's treatise is. Is it just me or does it seem these men seem to think to a large degree that we have to reinvent the wheel in our proclamation & practice of the Gospel? I sure hope that's not what I'm hearing here.

I am bothered the focus is on churches not people. We will stand before God as people not as a member of a church. Problem is that many in the church, that say they are Christians, act just like the lost in every way. The lost see this and do not want to be two sided too. The culture has walked away from Jesus, for quite awhile, but now it is more obvious and it's noise is everywhere. But in the OT the Jewish people did the same thing. I am a servant of Jesus Christ, that is all.

Your guests and you seem confused. STOP Don't confuse ppl more than they are.

All I'm hearing here is a bunch of cowards making excuses about sharing the true gospel. And these guys are famous? For what exactly?
