How small business can evolve in South Africa

According to research by World Wide Worx, there are an estimated 650,000 small businesses in South Africa, employing around 7.8 million people. Now, these businesses face various challenges in this ever-changing environment. Investor and Serial Entrepreneur Vusi Thembekwayo joined us in the studio to take a closer look at entrepreneurship and where we stand as a country in this regard.

Why haven't I heard of Vusi Thembekwayo!!!! As a young entrepreneur myself this was very inspiring and I'm usually surrounded with young entrepreneurs and all complain about is that the government or companies do not want to fund them or they are struggling to get funded. As the millennium I would say we have to high standards when it comes to the establishment of a business. The reality is that it takes time and I like we Vusi said that FNB and ABSA is not something that happened overnight.Can he be my mentor please? With the business that I'm doing people usually ask me why don't you expand, but what they don't understand is that it will happen it's just all about timing, because I know where I want to take it but we as humans must be realistic in life. I wish I could actually meet with Vusi. Thank you fpr the inspiring and realistic conversation, I raelly enjoued it.

Personally, no one is. If both are for personal use they are both liabilities. In time you will need to pour petrol, service it, buy tyres etc.. With you OWN MONEY. The trick for me is for the car to pay itself for all its dues. Only then it's an asset.

If you want to start a proper business people should be able to benefit of it financially not only the owner. Not like Richard Branson who generates no income for the public he is only costing the public money. If you pay someone a good salary and he brings triple the amount of income back then it's a wise decision. Look for key individuals in a company and keep them. Don't start a company on hire and fire if you're not in business don't advertise. Go big or go home.
