I give $90/month to a charitable org that helped me 45 years ago, that tries to help other people, and I only get one letter from them, an acknowledgment, thanking me, and adding a phrase describing how my money will be used every month. No letters asking for more, just the one letter. Apparently, they also get enough from others that they've helped to meet their budget. They've never asked me for money. If they had helped you, you would want to give something also. l don't give to anyone else and I don't promote them either on KZfaq. That's all I can afford to give anyway.
