Thank you, Big Jim. We have so many hardships as South Africans, our Bok team is sometimes the only thing we can be proud of. The Boks know and understand that, and bring their all when it matters - during RWCs. You haven’t seen their best yet, they are still on an upwards trend, but we will see their best by the end of this tournament. Perfect timing of a team that has been 5 years in the making.

The Boks' scrumming power and defence was much too formidable for the Scots, however the Bokke need to cut out those useless and nonsensical grabba kicks within the oppositions 22, poor post kicking too. It was nonetheless a well earned victory.

Outside of the RWC the All Blacks may have a better record than the Boks but SA deserve full respect on how they can graft their way through World Cup draws. They're the Germany of rugby. Can't wait for the QF if Boks beat Ireland.

They’ve both won 3 world cups. Both have beaten each other in knock out stages also. Boks beat ABs in 95 final but ABs have beat Boks in QF 03 and Semi final ‘15.

True but don't forget the Boks were banned in '87 and '91 so overall they have a better 'win' percentage. Head to head ABs have an advantage (including the loss in '99 and win in 2019).

They’ve played each other in knockout stages 3 times and ABs have won 2 out of 3. ‘95 final was a draw in South Africa which they won via drop goal in extra time. Head to head in Rugby Championship/Tri-nations is not even close. Circa 2007 Boks were awesome.

The problem for South Africa is what if they have a number of injuries in the backs which ever forward they bring on he better be able to run for as long as the game goes on. This is where this tactic will come unstuck.

Scotland were right there by half time. I think the conditions made it harder for Scotland than it did for the boks given how Scotland wanted to play. Kriel very lucky not to get a card etc. but overall that bok pack is scary, will be keeping team coaches up at night.

Scottish forwards were brave and were able to match the boks. But come second half and the boks shifted into another gear. Scots were better than the scoreline suggested. Hope they can pull off a win against Ireland
