Being Welsh, it hurt so much! Thought it may have genuinely been a 1st for us Red Dragons! But I was happy that we at least lost to the Champions of the world! :)

Given the potential matchups you could've had in the final, I definitely would've supported the Welsh on the day. But, it did appear you guys were running out of steam against us, so I think it might've been a struggle had you made it through. Lack of depth seems to have to been the major stumbling block.

@FOMO FUD in my view, when losing three or four players affects your performance, this is because of a lack of depth. When you essentially have to play your A team in every match in the WC, which leads to injuries and fatigue, this is because of a lack of depth.

I'm from the US and was hoping to see my Eagles make some improvement this RWC, unfortunately, we did not, but we'll get there eventually. This was a great final to watch. I was happy to see the Boks take it. Learning more about the stories and hardships some of these players have gone through like the skipper Siya, it's just awesome to see them have this moment in history.

Respect to Martyn Williams for saying that us and New Zealand were the two top teams heading into the WC, I don't think many of the Six Nations players/fans would have said that. Also, respect to Rassie for his post match interview after the NZ loss, class act, didn't seem to phase him at all.

I think SA would have beaten the All Blacks in the final l. Boks were settling down their gameplan and defensive structures very nicely and were getting more and more stronger and confident in themselves, and it being a WC final, they would have been nashing therir teeth to slam the arch rivals All Blacks in the gutter. Well done, Rassie, Siya and all the Bokke!

If the ref knew the scrum laws the opening game wouldnt have ended well for NZ, but I think this the easiest route to the final. Even NZ couldnt keep up their intensity all the way thru.

Japan beaten Ireland that was number one in the world, beste Scotland and Samoa... Wales was ram slam six nation champions that year.. England knock new Zealand out of the world cup.. Yeah was easy omw😂😂😂😂

man, this is so emotional to watch...in a happy way. World Rugby really puts on a stellar show with regards to RWC. im South African but i remember tearing up as if i was an englishman, when Wilkinson dropped that goal to win it for England back then, such is the emotion RWC evokes.

Watch the full final 2 days ago with the English commentary, over confidence in the beginning and just being grinded down and out muscled they seem to realise in the 60th minute they are not going to make it. People also tend forget that we lost lots of our starting team in the first 20 minutes. Also we almost scored two tries after the Kolby try.

Yes, it was a laugh how much they over stressed the Sinclair injury while we had twice the number of injuries. Coles was the acknowledged better scrummager yet when scrummed into the turf, Sinclair was missed... At least most of the English fans have consoled themselves the Boks 'deserved' the Cup because of the poverty to riches stories of our black players. It would have hurt too much to say the Boks were just wayyy better after all the English media hype they swallowed hook, line and sinker. Ahh, the English fan, their chariot did in fact swing quite low, but didnt take them home to glory.

I had a vision in 2018 when sa played england at Twickenham. I was on my bed halfway in the match I remember that I saw a score 27-12. I almost thought we were going to win that day but obviously we lost then a year later we played england again but in a wc final before the game even started I knew in some weird way that we were gonna win. Then when the final whistle blew I looked at the score 27-12.

4:08 - I'm pretty sure this scoreline is wrong. The game was 5-3 at one point, it was never 21-0

@@craighjonas8833 True story. Also, some people still believe that the All Blacks were invincible in the tournament and that the Boks would not have beaten them in the final. While this is all conjecture and can never be proven, I do not think that would have been the case at all. I think we would have won the RWC regardless of who we faced in the final.

I am South African. I am boycotting all South African national teams until all racial quotas (especially at school level) are lifted. Equal opportunities are not the same as equal outcomes. Quotas are outcome based and racial discrimination!

If you dont lift the boycott on yourself, SA rugby will go bankrupt. Please dont do it, we want to see our Boks play! Come on dude, nobody will miss you. Leave that stuff behind and enjoy the rugby, we are Champs you know. Console yourself that the better players will always drift to the top, no matter the circumstances or their colour.

@@dimitardobrev3296 Hi Dimitar. Boycotting of South African sport internationally was one of the major levers / tools used in the 1980's bringing about political change. It works - as any South African that lived through that period can attest.

Especially the injustice against white children at school level, the so-called 'free born' that was born after 1994! How do you explain / justify selection quotas to a child?

@@cobusbrits2 Note: We are currently working and living abroad - I make a point of bringing the racial discrimination of quotas in SA sport to the attention to everybody who has ears to listen. Let the hypocrisy and the racism of the ANC be known in the world. Ps. Francois Pienaar taking a knee for BLM has already alienated a lot of traditional Springbok supporters.
