this reversed melody is pretty normal but this kick is shit ive never seen before. Also its pretty common to play "all notes in the scale" cause it sounds good many times and if deconstructed properly its just mixed chords

Some producers (like me) just have a good ear for music and notes. Also music theory and lots of lessons can train your ears to a point where when you hear a chord, you can IMMEDIATELY point it out. With this training you can get the notes and chord progressions of a song. But how he found the VST and Plugins and actual sounds for the song is beyond me. Its SO difficult. I remember just randomly coming across the VST for RIP SCREW in MonoPoly. But yea. Its just a bunch of ear training
