Same with Toei, they own the merchandising, even when the show was cancelled they had insane profits because merchandising is where 95% of the profits are taken. New movie: new form. @@Gojo69420_ you realize that Toei didn’t even consult Toriyama on Battle of Gods right? That means SSG was being made by Yamamuro without even the original creator’s input. You have no argument, Toriyama simply did not intend for the story to be milked out this long, if he had that foresight he would’ve never shelved SSG.

Same I wish that it was relevant up to the Zamasu arc where by the RoF arc they had figured out how to sustain it much longer with minimal stamina drainage. I wish blue emerged in the Zamasu arc, not from training, but from an intense trigger of emotions like with the original SSJ transformation.

@@frostykilz123felt rushed? They were training on beerus’s planet for months before the freeza saga. While Goku increased his power for 6 days before reaching namek and only spent a day in the healing chamber before he turned super sayain and you want to talk about “rushed” get real. Goku went from 18,000 power level to 160’000 in a matter of 6 days. And managed to surpass freeza’s 1 million after healing. Yet when Goku and Vegeta do instense training with gods and angels for months it felt rushed?

@@andrejohnson8554 jeez man chill we just having a chat here swapping ideas why don't you dial down a bit I agree the god thing is supposed to be about control and not leaking ki etc but the anime immediately forgets that and most cases after where they transform to blue they screaming and got aura all over the show so it's not really consistent. Not that dragon ball had ever had consistent cannon so I'm not bothered by it just look at all the lore/rules around fusion it's messy but eh it's just for fun right? When I say rushed I don't mean in terms of in universe time frame. I'm talking actual screen time then frieza saga is long as hell and he only goes ssj at the end right as like the peak thing to look forward to. Same for ssj2 is the climax for cell. We didn't get that for blue we got one season of the film being broken down and got red, cool ok that's fine red at the end Vs beerus good stuff then it's bam one comment about them having been training for x months and we get blue. In episode conversation saying good long it's been doesn't stop it feeling rushed. In just the span of super we got what? Red, blue, blue kioken and then UI and royal blue. Just felt like it was a bit more compact than normal but hey it's been a while since I watched it all the way through so I could be wrong. At least UI was at the end of TOP so was a climactic power up for jiren

No, Bills didn’t even use 1% of his power. Blue is x50 God. In the anime, he had to use x10 King Kai Fist to fight Hit, and became stronger afterwards when he had a rematch with him who he too is stronger. So that’s x1,000 stronger than God in total, at least. Let’s not forget he can stack another x10 on top making it x10,000 in total. In T.O.P Saga, Gokou constantly gets stronger and is able to use x20 King Kai Fist instead of just x10, so that’s at least x20,000 God from B.O.G Saga. He also is able to fight Kafla who rivaled the Genkai Dama when it was used on Jiren as Whis said. At least x40,000 stronger. Yee, Berrus was definitely not using 10% or even 1% when going up against Gokou the first time. That is just crazy.

I agree 100% The burning red aura of God looks so cool versus whatever the hell Blue's aura is. It's not bad, but it has a distinct shape and partical effects I find very weird. Perfected Blue was cool, too

One thing I like about SSG is that Goku’s fighting style actually changes when he uses it. Every time he pulls it out, he does something different that he doesn’t do in any of his other forms. Whereas Blue just has him fight like normal…

We also get boosts for normal heavy/light attacks unlike blue which does more ki based attacks. SSJG doesn’t drain your ki where as SSJB/SSGSS does.

I still think that this is the form that they could have learned to tap into later on. I believe that Ssj God should've been stronger than Blue. Blue could've been an incomplete version because they aren't used to using God ki yet, and when they do master God ki, Blue turns to Red, and then from there, each person can go their own route with Divine energy (Ultra instinct, Ultra Ego, etc.)

Super Saiyan God is literally only part of Super Saiyan God (20% to be exact) but they go Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan is (fyi Akira Toriyama said Super Saiyan is 10x base but go off) 50x base (only according to Weekly Jump and not series creator Akira Toriyama). Why exactly do you think Super Saiyan Rosé exists when they literally stated in the show that it's a more pure Super Saiyan God SS. Goku Black is able to use 100% of Super Saiyan God's power when going Super Saiyan due to his naturally divine status and familiarity with knowing how to use god ki. Goku and Vegeta cannot. And, as per stated by Whis in the literal manga... it's only 10x stronger than God. And again bud if you didn't watch just say that. 70% was a lie. He lied to motivate Goku that is literally the entire point of the arc.... "Why did you lie about using 70% of your power sir you didn't even come close to that" - Whis "If Goku thinks the gap is too wide he'd get discouraged so I lied to motivate him" - Beerus Seriously watch the show.

Arguably the most unique design behind super saiyan 3. When I say unique, I’m most referring to completely having anew look breaking the norms in saiyan terms (and canon, yes I know ssj4 exists). This form broke the chain of golden and spikey hair and replaced it with something not really seen before. An appearance that is similar to his base form with some noticeable different strands of hair and the form changing colors when the aura is active and inactive. When it is active, it has a very nice red tinge to the body while the hair gives the impression of it glowing red while no aura takes away the red shading and makes the hair look more magenta or a similar color in the red spectrum. I personally like this form more than ultra instinct and blue. But if you include all saiyan forms and not just goku, I would say super saiyan 2 and super saiyan blue evolved are my favorites.

I miss the self-contained Battle of Gods from years ago where Beerus actually did use a lot of his power against Super Saiyan God, and was then stated in the Resurrection F movie to be within the reach of Goku and Vegeta working together as Blues. Him nowadays being stronger than MUI, Ego and Black Freeza is just completely unsatisfying. He's the definition now of "My OC is actually as strong as infinity plus one!!"

Goku’s power in SSJ3 was likely multi-galactic since he stated that, after 4 years of training, he could comfortably beat Kid Buu as a SSJ3. Kid Buu was stated to be a galaxy destroyer and a threat to the universe though it is unclear if Kid Buu could collapse the Universe by screaming like Buuhan did since the manga makes it abundantly clear that Kid Buu is far weaker than Buuhan and weaker than even base Super Buu since he spits out Fat Buu and suffers no real power decrease; implying that Fat Buu, at that rate, wasn’t giving Kid Buu any real power boost. The SSG ritual in the DBS anime shows that Goku became powerful enough to shake the fabric of space/time by merely matching Beerus’ punches, a feat that threatened to collapse the universe. So in short, SSG took Goku from being able to comfortably beat Kid Buu in SSJ3 to being able to match or come close to Buuhans dimension tearing scream with merely his unfocused punches. That’s what you call a “divine power up”!

Oh jeez, it’s far more of a boost than that. Goku went from being a multi-solar system buster in Ssj3 to a universe buster as a Ssj God. That’s a multiplier in the range of millions to possibly billions beyond Ssj3.

@@blueturret5596 Actually SS2 was already a galaxy buster and SS3 is 16x multiplyer of SS2. But being a universal buster is not really a feat in Dragonball considering the universe is made up of 4 galaxies (North, South, East, and West galaxy). And half of the Universe is the afterlife.

It wouldn’t have been slept on if they hadn’t instantly replaced it with Super Saiyan Cotton Candy. I wish they kept it to God, at least until Goku raged over Zamasu gloating that he killed ChiChi and Goten. That would’ve been a good moment to trigger a new form.

It would be impossible for Beerus to use 70% of his power against this form and then not be worried about Goku surpassing him against the next form

70% applied back when dbs wasn't even in production. It was a bench mark for Z goku to pass off screen. Then dbs came out and it was changed so that beerus would be an ever moving goal post to inspire goku to never stop getting stronger.

i imagine beerus’ power is exponential. if the gap from 10% power to 11% power is 50 feet (for visualization sake), the gap from 70% power to 71% power is 30,000 feet
