I agree The Abomination is a very underrated character. Although he wasn't always that way.She-Hulk beating him is definitely pis.So The Abomination started out twice stronger than the Hulk from his first appearance till around the 80's then by the late 90's(or early 00's) he was back as twice stronger than the Hulk.Sure he had more losses than wins against everybody he fought but those are against The Hulk,The Silver Surfer and Thor all star-solar system level characters.He's beaten Professor Hulk and Doc Green Hulk kinda easy.He also beat Namor underwater and that's all in character.The Abomination in later years has grown to be as powerful as Green Scar Hulk(World War Hulk) from around 2010-currently.He can survive in the vacuum of space and underwater with no problem, he can leap almost as high,far and fast as The Hulk,has his intellect intact,is an expert hand to hand combatant and can easily tank blasts from Captain Marvel and Sunspot.He would definitely be a good fight against Wonder Woman and Shazam etc.

I gotta admit that the character of Emil Blonsky/Abomination has grown on me over the years. One of my favorite iterations of the character comes from the 2005 video game, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction in which he was voiced by the great Ron Perlman. Nonetheless, I do 100% agree that the Abomination is an underrated, underappreciated and underutilized villain. I mean, his strength is nearly comparable to the Hulk. The dude can lift over 1000 tons and hit with the force equivalent of 500lbs of TNT. That right there is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Abomination was always a power house for me strange to see that people underestimate him much. And yes She-Hulk defeating Abomination is PIS.

He definitely is a hulk level being. I was surprised how accurate the second hulk live action movie was. He made the hulk angry it was all over for him he hung in though. They were almost evenly matched until the hulk got angry.

Abomination is kinda underrated. He even fought against Thor, albeit Thor defeated him. And about She-Hulk and how she defeated Abomination - I don't think it's a PIS. Shulkie was skilled and agile, and has enough strength to hurt Abomination. And defeated him using her fighting skills and pressure point strikes (she was trained by Captain America and Gamora). Albeit it's arguable about pressure points, because Abomination is bulletproof and even explosions doesn't really harm him, but I could assume Shulkie was able to defeat him by her fighting skills because she had enough strength to affect him.

Oh man I've been waiting on this. Time to show the OG Gamma Rival some love. Funny thing is I was just playing Ultimate Destruction fighting Abomination again when I saw this.

Bought my first comics in 1969 when I was 4 years old. 2 comics, Flash v Captain Cold and Hulk v Abomination. I was hooked! Originally Abomination was stronger than Hulk because he received a higher dose of gamma radiation, but his strength didn't increase with his anger so Hulk eventually won every time. Still great fights, it's hard to believe it's been over 50 years of them fighting. Nowadays Abomination feels like an old friend, but the kind you don't appreciate until he's gone. Ahh, nostalgia!

I constantly been thinking about how Abomination should come back because he haunted me in the 1st film and is my favorite Hulk villain. I knew he was strong or stronger than base hulk but I didn’t know about worldbreaker or chaos Abomination. But hell yeah I want to see him come back I like that design I just wish they would have mad him a bit more fish like but the recent design is still horrifying

My favorite Abomination/ Hulk battle occurred just after Betty Ross died. When it was discovered that Abomination injected his blood into Betty Ross, General Ross told Bruce. He purposely wanted him to get angry, so Banner would transform, and go after him. The fight was epic! Hulk nearly beat Abomination to death!

First time I was exposed to abomination was way back when I was younger when I played Hulk Ultimate Destruction. Abomination was such a cool villain for the hulk. I will admit that it is strange for She Hulk to somehow knock out the abomination even after all those battles with the hulk he has gotten in. He is definitely underrated

Great video, Abomination is my favorite villain from the Hulk comics and in the entire Marvel Universe including the MCU he is my second favorite one right after Thanos. The first time when I saw him was way back on 2008 in The Incredible Hulk movie and in The Super Hero Squad Show from 2009 until 2011. What I like of Abomination as a marvel character and a way different counterpart of Hulk is that unlike Banner, who struggled with his monstrous, but heroic, alter-ego, there was no struggle between Emil Blonsky and Abomination, nor was there enough of a difference between the two to make Abomination his alter-ego. Blonsky proved to already be capable of sadistic tendencies before his operation by General Ross and his men on the film. As this is something connected as well with his version of the comics, because in the comics in contrast with Hulk, he retains his intellect after transforming, and cannot change back into his human form. So basically he is permanently trapped inside his gamma monster superhuman form, this was one of the tragic aspects of the character that mostly got my attention. Historically when he was conceived by Stan Lee and Gil Kane, the idea was to create a character who had twice the power of Hulk and maintained his mental faculties, to boot in his first outing against Hulk and had physical abilities that only few could equal on the entire planet.

I'm liking the Abomination more and more of late, I want him to match Hulk punch by punch.

I recently read a comic from Marvel and it's relatively new dated for April of 2020. Where Abomination is kept in a nuclear bunker, but it's an old Jupiter missile launching silo, And after the events with weapon H shield in the United States government took super villains that were less of a threat and move them. Abomination had an entire bunker to himself but because of age he has lost 3/4 of his total power. A security guard that was only there on the weekends part of the Skeleton Crew of only two guys. Sits in the security room watching Hulk and Abominations fights and then pretty much every earth-616 canonical Abomination fight. Becoming fan of Abomination. Throughout most of the comic Abomination is chained up in a giant test tube looking thing in water. The other security guard is kind of a dick and always seems to bully the security guard that the story is following. The security guard that's a fan goes past the red "don't cross line" surrounding Abominations tank, and instead of calling him Abomination he calls him mr. blonski, the other security guard sees this and kind of kicks the crap out of him and just before the bully security guard calls everything in Blonsky escapes. He's old, weak, still strong enough to throw the security guy like a rag doll and turn him into paste. But helps the fan security guard, the New abomination. Injecting a water down super soldier serum variant injecting the blood of Emil Blonsky himself and then getting shot with a X-ray machine...yea ik LOL 😅 . About the procedure is all cobbled together not using the right equipment and blah blah blah and that's why he's the new abomination. He looks very much like the 2008 film version but he has fish ears, and seems to glow till u see his skeleton. Giving off a lot of radiation when this happens and has the ability to turn back into a normal person, kinda. His spine is still protruded and looks like it's about to rip out of his back he has prehensile feet. But everything else about him looks normal when he changes into a" human form"

A-Bomb is a classic case of arch nemesis-Itis. He is is written to be STRONGER than the protagonist but obviously has to lose since he is the antagonist. Other cases of arch nemesis-iris: Logan should pretty much lose to Saberetooth all the adamant I I’m Spider should lose to Venom all the time Dr. Doom should not lose to the Fantastic Four But they HAVE to because they are the antagonists that the protagonists have to overcome.

The Abomination is one of my favorite hulk villians, if anyone was going to put a beat down on the hulk my money was on him. In the beginning the Abomination would put something on the hulk and if he worked fast enough would put him down but after a while the hulk would make a come back. Through out the years the Abomination has gotten punked, his fights with other heros is a joke. The ultimate disrespect was first being Modoks batch then being killed by General Ross. This should have been another epic battle, but the writers decided to punk him again. I was confused by this too. If the Abomination is killed by Ross, then who is the guy in hulk futures past mini series and then what about the Chaos king run, what happened to the Abomination after that ? In the series with the one below, shouldn't the Abomination be there too somewhere lurking planning another return. Now I like both versions of the Abomination, the MCU and the original one. I wish one was the son of the other created by Bolowski himself, a son , slave, or military science construct. Taking the Abomination out of the hulk life was and is wrong. They tried to bring him back as a clone, dumb as a brick, but not the same. Hey do you think you could talk about another hulk villian, The Bludgeoning Billy. He was a one shot villian but had great potential and got a raw deal. Anyway its nice to see another Abomination fan, thanks. Oh PS. WTF is going on with Rick Jones? In Rom he was made a hulk. In the hulk series he became " Jethro, Little Abner hulk, he was a side kick, his wife became death and disappeared, and was an alternate to Captain Marvel and his son, and then Abom,. Rick has been through a lot but damn can't the writer give this man a break. Out of a lot of reaccuring characters, Rick should have a bunch of personalities hidden in him too, how about they flush them out for a comicbook, " The many forms of Rick Jones" he should be the Melancholy Hulk, this could be something else to look into

Did anyone notice Capt Marvell could not one-shot the abomination like in the movies when she fought Thanos and he pretty much wiped the floor with hulk. Thought they said she was all-powerful lol.

She hulk knocked him out because she used precise martial art blows at her strength level. When she fought him with Spider-Man she attempted to brawl and that’s not her lane. Abomination is powerful, hulks downfall is he likes to fight while the villain from jump is trying to murder him. When he fights a hero like the thing it’ goes blow for blow and there’s no threat of killing so it’s a sparing match of epic levels. In the end Hulk will always come out on top simply because it’s impossible to truly recreate how he got radiated. He was jumping to a ditch one second early he’s in the ditch one second late he’s vaporized. He’s a walking gamma reactor on a cellular level, EACH cell is a gamma reactor.

The value of a hero is measured by the greatness of his opponents. When they made Abomination a circus chimpanzee, Hulk lost a lot of his appeal.

Marvels size of some of these huge characters are annoying, cause the comic clearly shows they are way bigger then what they are listed as. Abomination imo should be slightly bigger then hulk and not be listed as 6'8.

Don't understand why Marvel's guide books puts characters like Abomination and Thanos at 6'7/6'8. Meaning that according to their logic, they're the same height as She Hulk, who's also 6'7. I'm glad in the movies, they're much bigger than this. With Abomination being 12 feet tall, Thanos being 8 feet tall and She Hulk still being 6'7. And obviously in newer comics, both Thanos and Abomination have been drawn to be much bigger than under 7 feet tall. I really hope Marvel gets rid of the old guide books and just replaces them with new ones with updated information about certain characters and actually get their proper heights and weights this time around

I see failed to mention how easily he was killed by Red Hulk. Hulk has stomped him 90% of their fights as well.

The Silver Surfer was weakened for all of his first run, apart from the time he was amped by Loki!he even states as much in the issue where he fights the Badoon.

He’s been dissed over the decades by Marvel Comics. It seems 🤔 he gets respect ONLY when he fights Hulk, giving him all he can handle and then some. However, they let Thor and Hercules down him with one punch. He gets beaten by She-Hulk 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤨. The writing needs to be more consistent between him and other characters in the Marvel Universe, meaning they can’t use him as a doormat 🤨. The last I saw of him he was killed by Red Hulk and sent elsewhere before the Omega Hulk storyline (Doc Green). He was revived for the Immortal Hulk storyline, but his body was controlled and he wasn’t quite the same as we remembered.

He's bounced around from 90 ton level and up. He was set to be much stronger than hulk when hulk is not rage powered. Namor was 50 ton, then 100 ton+ under water. ironic that iceman has been elevated to omega level, and able to create ice that can contain hulk.

I like the Abomination. The MCU didn't show him enough. Now I have seen the Abomination go into hibernation mode and go at the hulk giving another war with him.
