With the Kaido clash. I think Zoro used advanced arnament and basic conqueror. Mainly because Kaido told Zoro about conqueror but had different dialogue for Luffy using advanced conq. I'm also saying basic conq because I remember seeing somewhere in an sbs that Ashura was Zoro's will. To me, Zoro manifesting an aura to straight up intimidate his opponents sounds like basic conquerors haki used in an offensive way.

Seeing videos like this reminds me how strong our marimo was since the beginning of TS. Maybe its me but it seems like there is a huge agenda going on against Zoro when it comes to his feats or strength eventhough that is his main goal. Zoro is comparable to Pre G5 Luffy but people wanna lump him with Law and Kid eventhough in my opinion he is one tier above them. Hope you make one for Luffy and Sanji too. OK I'm super late but I just wanted to leave some small thoughts on this. I'm glad you pointed out that Zoro really hasn't been trying since the timeskip. Since a lot of morons and downplayers like to Act like cutting Pica is his strongest feat or strongest move just because it was the biggest. Anyone paying attention to the story can clearly see that Zoro was not trying AT ALL throughout the New World. It's just more of the lies we have to deal with as One Piece fans. This video actually reminds me of something Vegeta once said in Dragonball Super. "Strongest? Second Strongest? Rankings are all well and fine but they only reflect a moment in time. Once that moment has passed by it's nothing but History. Even I am stronger that I was a few minutes ago." This heavily pertains to One Piece as well since the characters always experience massive growth throughout their fights. Trying to judge Zoro's strength based on a single showing or the lack thereof isn't an accurate way to judge how strong he is. So anyone claiming that, "Zoro is only mountain lvl cuz he cut Pica" is just objectively wrong. Just wanna clarify this for anyone who might be underrating Killer, I know Killer may have lost that exchange but I don't think either fighter was at their best in that instance since Killer lacked his usual weapons and Zoro was missing a sword. Personally I would say that prior to Roof Piece, Zoro & Killer were relative. I don't know where I'd rank Zoro compared to past legends honestly because the narrative itself seems to imply he's not there yet with statements like "There will never be another Samurai like Oden" and the how shocked Zoro was that Oden actually fought while casually pouring out that much Haki into Enma seems to suggest he's not entirely on that level yet though some of his attacks can be comparable to his. When it comes to Katakuri I'd say Zoro definitely has the edge in attack power. Don't know if that would allow Zoro to actually WIN a fight against Katakuri since Future Sight and the Mochi Mochi no Mi are too versatile. It's arguable that Zoro would never even land a blow on Katakuri and would burn himself out before he had the chance to finish him off. Match ups in One Piece are interesting like that. In the end, I more or less agree with your assessment. Only difference is I see it as him just barely touching Oden level with "some" attacks. Simply because Oden was never shown to be tired with Enma at all with it's use. Meaning that Oden was just giving off that level of Haki naturally while Zoro had to risk his life to fight on that level. Which is insane.

Really kinda wish this was more of a power scaling video instead of a general basis. Like, stats specifically. "How fast is he? Faster the sound? Faster than light? How strong is he? Where does his power cut off? What is the percentile growth increases that he's gotten over time prior to and post wano?" This video is good, great. But it's missing a lot of the statistical information i was hoping it would have.

That's a bit of a misinterpretation of the events of the series. 1) The scar that Oden gave Kaido is far superior to anything Zoro did in all of Wano, Kaido included Oden in his list of top characters, not even Big mom is on the list. Oden was high Yonlo level, comparable to current Kaido. 2) There is something that the fandom, mostly Zoro fans, completely omit, and that is that on the roof, Kaido explicitly mentions twice that Enma emits haki of Oden and Big mom mentions that it is the sword that is dangerous, the second time she didn't realize it because she was distracted. How it works Enma doesn't deny Kaido's words because each aura or Haki is different, and distinctive. Only in this way could Zoro's cuts against kaido be seen, but never with the other two swords. 3) based on this misinterpretation and denial of the facts, the fandom is confused regarding the toughness of kaido and King. Against King at no time is Oden's haki alluded to as on the roof. Kaido was so strong that he covered his body with a fire that could easily be close to or equal to Akainu's magma, King didn't show something like that otherwise he would surpass Zoro. King's fire is good but not that good. 4) In the case of Luffy at the beginning of Wano and Zoro with Enma, something needs to be clarified, the mechanism is important, why do you think Zoro never cut Kaido with the other two swords? Luffy at the beginning of Wano, had a very strong hakki that gave him defense, but by not projecting it, it didn't hurt Kaido. That is to say, Zoro could have a greater attack power than Luffy due to Enma, but until then, Luffy's haki quality was superior, giving him more defense, also Luffy received the full blow to the head without any defense. .

Great video! I am of the opinion that Zoro's King of Hell power up is of the same calibre than his Ashura attack on the roof. Meaning KOH Ashura would be > rooftop Ashura. There are somethings that make me reach that conclusion, one being no haki effects being drawn around Zoro's blade on the roof when scarring Kaido. KOH is outputting > haki than rooftop ashura. That would also make sense because Zoro is not consciously outputting advanced conquerors vs kaido. I might be wrong in my assessment tho. Cheers.

The main issue with taking scarring Kaido as a base for power levels is that Kaido can eat attacks like nothing. He took asura and didnt even get knocked down. Way too strong for a yc 1to fight like Luffy showed in his first fight. Zoro has the AP to be yc1+ but his base stats and stamina when using acoc is nowhere near enough to tangle with Yonkos. As soon as Kaido focuses on him alone in the 2 v5 on the roof hes done for within just a few attacks. On the other hand Yamato can atleast neutralise a Boro breath from Hybrid Kaido, Stall him till Luffy returned, even Managed to tank a Thunder Bagua which a yc1 Luffy from Act 1 couldn't. She never showed any difficulty in using acoc and even appeared to use acoa against Haccha during Onigashima when she used the Nari Kabura arrow. Lufy >>Yamato>=Zoro>Sanji.

Zoro has one of the strongest attack potencies in series, but there’s a lot that he lacks. He’s not as fast as Sanji, doesn’t have bulletproof skin, and doesn’t have advanced observation Haki. I’m not sure if he could beat Katakuri in a fight. I’d say they might be equal, or Zoro wins mid-high dif. If they fight in the mirror world, Zoro has a 0% chance of winning because he’d get lost.

On a scale from one to ten with a healthy gear 5 luffy being a 10 so I’d put luffy at his best before gear 5 at a 8 so zoro should be about a 8 at his absolute best

No XD Zoro's attack is no comparable to Oden's, you only have to see the reaction of Kaido in both case and even the scars themselves. Granted, it was made to a hybrid and current Kaido, but there is no actual evidence to say that this Kaido is much stronger than 20 years ago, we don't know about any challenging and serious fight for him from Oden's death to Onigashima war. Oden's attack bear Advanced Conqueror with better domain than Zoro, who didn't even know he was using it. Finally, Kaido himself puts Oden among characters like Shanks, Roger and Shirohigue.

We dont know how strong he is, because he didnt use ashura with conquerors coating. Dragon damnation is his strongest used attack so far, but not his maximum potential. Moving on from this, zoro was literally going through a mental crisis on whether or not he should give enma more haki. He was purposely regulating his haki. You need to give context to the fight so people have no wiggle room. King was the first to get upset and start going all out, not zoro. Its confirmed he was angry from zoro cutting his mask once, then AGAIN with tiger hunt, his mask was able to break because kings flame was off with the preranodom form speed when he broke it the 2nd time. thats how zoro figured him out eventually from more contact, meanwhile zoro was still not giving enma the haki it wanted on purpose. Just look at the dialogue. King and zoro were matched until king grew upset and got relentless in his assault. But a purposely haki regulating zoro was keeping up with this angry king. Remember, zoro tanked kings explosion attack with just armament. Zoro can hurt king without conquerors coating in his flame off state, hence his previous mask damage, armament is enough to damage him in speed form, but its not one shotting potential like conquerors, thats the boost conquerors gives. Also, even king says "a swordsman whos losing to his sword" and "trouble in paradise", he notices zoro struggling with his haki regulation, among the statements zoros makes about how he should use his haki until he finally lets it all out, show that you cant quantify zoro vs king that easily, but you have to know that ashura zoro who attacked kaido broken bones and invisible coco coating < king of hell zoro visible coc coating, thus king of hell ashura zoro > king of hell coco coating dragon damnnation, which we havent seen, and that attack would do plenty more damage to kaido than what we saw him do before, by logic alone. Kings ability might not make him take damage at all depeding on the flames on his back, it could be hax like, because logic alone says maximum defense king is at least above hybrid kaido, but likely definitely not magma dragon kaido vs bajrang gun. I think zoro is a 95 to luffys 100 now comapred to 98 to 100 before gear 5 but i think zoro will get closer to 97 to luffy 100 by eos

Beautiful video. Although I hope you don't mind me make a disagreement on one important point you made. I believe Kaido Scarring Zoro and Zoro now are in same power. While Zoro scarred he had 30 bones broken and he said he was putting everything he had in that attack so that means whatever has remained of his power after 30 broken bones, and him using CoC coating at least hat time happened because he was putting everything he had on it so the power just burst out. So, I believe Zoro's attack now is just as potent as it was when he scarred Kaido.. it's just like Luffy's G5 now Zoro has a time limit.

at 6:45 you say zoros attack is on the same level as odens. but you had stated that hybrid form is > dragon form in terms of durability, and oden scared kaido in his dragon form. meaning zoros slash would most likely be greater in terms of strength.

I have one problem and taht is phtting ashura zoro above king of hell zoro. Ashura Zoro had 20-30 broken bones after he hold off hakai a advanced coc attqck that should kill all 5 of them. I dont know how much the mink medicin did heal him but he was stronger in koh then ashura. Also kings durability is arguably better then kaidos or relativ the same when you see what it took to hurt a flames off king and what it took to theoretically hurt flames on king

pretty sure its not advanced armament haki zoro didn't train like luffy u could argue enma brought out his haki but its not confirmed that it was specifically armament and even then, even killer was able to hurt kaido with just basic haki

I don’t think zoros cutting kaido=his attack will always be at that level when fighting others. His attacks are much weaker unless he is using his full power. Also I think him having a slashing weapon also gives him an advantage Vs kaido not that he was necessarily stronger than gear 4 luffy.

One point I disagree with is that ashura is zoros “full power” saying that was zoros max when he was heavily fatigued, all of his bones were broken, even you stated that law said “How can he even fight?” A fully healed zoro should be able to out due his ashura attack from his first awakening.

I agree with most of this video except for saying that wano luffy and katakuri have equal attack potency. It was shown numerous times throughout the fight that katakuri had superior armament haki and the main thing luffy improved was his observation haki and using his snake man's continously increasing attack speed to get hits in. I don't think there's much of a reason to assume their attack potency is equal nor would it make much narrative sense to say that kings durability even with the flame off his higher than katakuris overall attack potency. Since they're similar ranks they should be relative in a fight and capable of being damaged by the other.

Zoro coc infusion is already above Asura on the rooftop, just because zoro poured all of his strength into it doesn't mean he used coc infusion.. We've seen luffy put his all in his final attack several times in the story and not use coc haki infusion.. There's no clear evidence zoro scarred kaido with coc infusion, there was no black streaks to confirm that and also let's say he did use coc infusion, I can't say zoro using coc haki subconsciousnesly is stronger than him using it willingly.. Zoro is already above the level that scarred kaido.

Ayo put some respect on Luffy he just didn't wanna use G4 in Fishman Island otherwise he would have 1 shot overdosed hordy. He also would have been able to destroy the Noah. Remember he also had snake man post TS he just hadn't used it. G4 would be too much for even Fishman Island Zoro, he was launching Doffy for hundreds of meters with 1 attack.
