Night King character deserves a whole series

Jon snow was my favourite character. I hate how they wasted him in last season, he was deemed to end the night king but .. then they send him to night's watch whose purpose was to protect the realm from white walkers and wildling which were no threat after all of this. Last season was a perfect failure !

Expectation: jon and night king will have a classic fight Reality: Arya caming out of nowhere

To me ,Jon will be the true king always , even if he's not a true targeryn in the books 💯, he's the shield we turn to when the night gets darkest

Only good thing I found in season 8 was the fight between the brothers THE HOUND AND THE MOUNTAIN... Not a great fight but it was something which ought to happen In any version of it!!

I watched it before starting house of the dragon, and i had the same observation that they threw all character development of many characters in last season and created a horrible ending just because they wanted to surprise everyone. Suddenly Tyrion becomes an idiotic planner, danny forgets about iron fleet and euron,Danny becomes mad queen, John Snow became unimportant, bran never did anything with his powers. Sansa killed Ramsey, Arya killed Frey and others, bran became 3 eyed raven but John Snow never had a fight with night king. Bran who told he will not become king, says that he came this far to become king.

How can someone destroy such a great work of art?😭 it is clear from the final season that show writers(season 8 writers to be specific) themselves did not read carefully its story and understood the real theme of the show. Untill season 7 best thing about game of thrones were its plot twists but in season 8 it were the plot twists that destroyed the show.

I completely agree with your roast as that's exactly how I felt after watching the last 3 seasons, especially the last season. The plot was too scattered to make sense & when Tyrion says that Bran should be king as he had the best story of all, I literally felt like slapping him as Bran was the most useless being in the series & I felt bad for the people who died to save him thinking he's an important asset as their death felt wasted. P.S. I've been a Tyrion fan all along

Extremely Agree,s8 seemed like they took 3-4 seasons worth of content and compressed it to fit in 6eps of a single season,the ending was too rushed that it destroyed the whole show,tbh they should've taken their time and put some work into it and it could've easily get to 10-12 seasons with highly detailed story about the white walkers,like where they came from,what was the reason they were created,who was those elf like creatures who created them,what was their true purpose,the origin of the third eyed raven and finally they should've ended it with a whole season dedicated to the final fight (a respectable one) of the humans vs the white Walkers,with jon snow killing the night king and everyone acknowledging that he is "the chosen prince" he is the "aegon Targaryen" and naming him the king of the westeros
