This game was my first ever video game and I loved it. I put it down for a while and this summer I picked back up and 100% it. It was awesome playing it again after so many years and I think you should go and 100% it too.

One of the most mindblowing things for me is that, when you face Squizzard, the boss music plays but then when you grab a fire flower it gets fused with the fire Mario theme for an awesome remix and that's honestly just amazing.

This was definitely my favorite Mario game, it was amazing and extremely fun. I have almost no complaints about it and I think Nintendo should make Galaxy 3. That is just my opinion though.

Actually Nintendo planned to have Yoshi in Galaxy 1 but feared that if there was Yoshi, he had to be a large part of the game and Galaxy already had such a different and new main gimmick (gravity gimmick) that having 2 gimmicks in 1 game may be confusing. So they did not forget Yoshi existed, they wanted Yoshi in Galaxy.

I like that there’s lots of Super Mario World music from Hightail Falls, Haunty Halls, Boo Moon, etc. I also love the music from the second Bowser Jr. fight!

Mario Galaxy 2 was supposed to be super Mario Galaxy More (basically Mario Galaxy DLC but you have to buy the game again) but they had so many ideas that the created a new game.

As a kid, I would always be luma, and I liked it! Those experiences make me wanna play mario galaxy two as a luma every day! It would've been a great idea to let second players with nunchuks to control luma tho.

My only main complaint is that this game mostly uses sky backgrounds, which kinda takes the whole magic of being in the middle of space and makes it look just like another normal mario game

2:27 well yeah but flipswap galaxy can be done with shaking, yes I'm serious, it's pretty challenging, but if you long jump past the lasers with good timing it's beatable
