Ahmad’s life was changed after a Taliban attack at his school in Pakistan in 2014. 150 students were brutally killed, including his younger brother, Haris. Ahmad was forced to play dead in order to survive and eventually escape. To recover from the serious injuries he suffered, Ahmad was flown to Britain for treatment, where he has chosen to stay and dedicate his life to activism. He shared his remarkable story with us at Trust Conference.

नवाज साहब, मै भारत से हूं। मैने उस मनहूस दिन को TV पे देखा था। मै बार बार अपने सोते हुए बच्चो को जा कर देख रहा था। मुझे डर था कही बदले की आग जलते युवा को पैदा न कर दे। मैमुद्दत के बाद एक इंसान की तरह सोच रहा था,धर्म से ऊपर उठकर।आपको सुनकर शकुन मिला,भगवान आपको कामयाबी दे। मै शर्मिंदा हूं उन बच्चो के लिए जो नही रहे,शायद हम उनको उनके लायक दुनिया नही दे पाए।
