To the lady who welcomed me into the flock for when I was ashamed to be in front of the face of God she beckoned me to come and see. I thought I was lost forever but she showed me the way and loved me even more the same just as Jesus would if he were here. Thank you! God has you know in his arms with mom and dad tell the babies I will be their soon. I love you.

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds In a believer's ear! It soothes our sorrows, heals our wounds, And drives away all fear. It makes the wounded spirit whole, And calms the troubled breast; 'Tis manna to the hungry soul, And to the weary rest. Dear name! Upon the rock We build, Our shield and hiding place, Our never failing treasury filled With boundless stores of grace! Jesus! The shepherd, husband, friend, Prophet, priest and king, Our Lord, our life, our way, our end, Accept the praise We bring. I am doing g a devotion based on stories about old hymns. I have never heard this hymn before. This singer made this song come to life for me. Thank you. I can't believe there isn't more comments🙂
