Tantric practitioners frequently celebrate Tsog - offerings to one's spiritual Guide manifesting as meditational deity - to invite enlightened Beings and receive their blessings. It is a powerful method to remove obstacles and generate positive potential.
His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche gives us an introduction that is easily accessible also for non-practitioners, yet points to the depths of this wonderful spiritual experience.

I wouldn't consider myself a Tantric practitioner but I am at a point where I view all the schools and sects of Buddhism as all coming from Shakyamuni Buddha and he revealed 84,000 Dharma doors for a very skillful reason! However I have found myself drawn to Tara recently in her Green, White, and Red transformation bodies. I think transformation body is the right term but not sure, maybe emanation or something more correct. Anyways I chant Om Mani Padme Hum morning and night like my Teacher taught me!

It's so frustrating to see the people around you not see that this one life is so so important. How important it's to develop bodhicitta and help others gain merit. I always remember instances in which old people - both nice and bad praying, donating etc when they are close to death....hoping that it will help. I feel so bad. I want to have that chance to work for dharma and have the chance to develop bodhicitta. After following tsem Rinpoche for a few months and following his teachings on the blog site and here - I've been helped so much. He is very direct in about wanting to help you - and it's so very rare to come across such a great teacher.

Exactly. It's safe if you dont consider him as a Guru yet and is not comfortable with him, but dont tell others because you'll ruin their spirituality. If you consider someone as your Guru then see him in a negative light, that's gonna be very decrimental to you because you're biting the hand that feeds.

Sometimes he teaches in t-shirts and jeans, or sweatpants. In some ways it helps to destroy the foolish misconceptions we create and what we expect of teachers such as himself. He could be sitting there completely naked and that wouldn't matter, what he has to say and the teachings he has to share are what truly matters. Don't concern yourself with such superficial details and expectations. =)

Someone can please help me? I would like to know if receiving the teachings of such recording as this video, have the same effect of receiving the oral transmission from His Eminence himself. Has it the same effect of the direct oral transmission, it has the power that connects me with the original lineage?

oh i am doing that on a daily basis , i think this is the least i can do for the Dharma ( or let´s put it that way for my spiritual grow for all sentient beings and myself ) . right now i am a bit in a crisis because we have two Karmapa's in our lineage and there is an old prophecy that a demon would take the seat of Karmapa in one incarnation so i am very worried where my brothers and sister are going to , which one is the right one which one is the false one , this is very difficult as they both teach the same but in one case it is blessed and in the other it is to compromise the lineage . what do you think about it . i appreciate every answer to that question very much as i am struggling hard to find a solution .

Boddhi Cit is equal to the understanding what Christ consciousness is , am i right or is there a difference in the core of both different teachings ? the Christians say " unconditional love towards all of the creation ( God´s creation ) and the Buddhists say compassion but these are two words with the same meaning , there are very much similarities between those both religions only that the christians have God in the center of their philosophy or religion and the

I have to disagree to Kanazawa's attempt to explain the reason for Rinpoche's robe colour being due to his tantric vow or initiations, the simple reason being that every Lama in the Gelugpa sect. eg His Holiness and other Rinpoches all wear the same-coloured robes .... Rinpoche seems to be wearing robes like those from the Nyingmapa tradition. Could some1 pls explain if he/she knows why is this so, better if any1 has personally heard a satisfactory explanation from Rinpoche himself?
@LAYGPOT

Why is he wearing a white robe...not a Tibetan style red robe? Is he a Nyingma, Kagyu rinpoche? I thought he attended a Gelukpa monastery, Ganden.

Mother Theressa was actually very cruel with her clients or victims she denied even for the youngest one any pain killer like morphine for ppl with cancer or something else on that level , she wanted them all to take part of " jesus ´s sufferings " , sorry but i cannot see anything compassionate in this person and i am wondering why you and other ones always mention her she was an evil person , have you ever seen a video from her so called home of those who die ? it is a horror they where not even allowed to be visited by their parents no nothing , how can you call such a person compassionate , she beat her stuff with her walking stick made of wood , when something was not according to her . how can you be so ignorant to the suffering of the dying ppl in her hospital which looked more like a prison , sorry but this is unacceptable for me , she may helped the sick and poor to get off the street but she was very cruel to all of them including her staff , if she is in heaven then i guess there will be also SS guys from hitler and other suspects and i don´t want to spend any time with them , these are awful cruel beings . sorry but this time i have to say no that is false and not correct .

HI GonG108, I can understand your feelings on her. But have you considered when we back to old days, it was not the same as today, we could easily to access everything. In the old days, the technology was poor, lack of hygiene environment, shortage of medical professionals, all of these factors affected what Mother Theresa could do in the past days but i believe she had tried to make her biggest effort to do what she could do. Do you agree with it? Thank you very much for your comments :)

mother theressa is a difficult topic , the atheists use her to show others that she was not holy at all , on the other hand she followed the teachings of the catholic church very strictly , i guess the problem was the dogmatism of this religion , i think her heart was open and she surly helped a lot of ppl but there are some blind spots if i can put it that way , i myself was raised and teached by jesuits in germany , therefore i know catholics and their doctrine but my heart opened up when i saw the Buddhist and Shivaite teachings the first time . i wish we had a center here in cologne like the Kechara Buddhist Temple or centrum , to be able to have the presence of Rinpoche and listening to his teachings is a great bless ( that is why i love the internet so much , it makes us more independent and able to listen to treasures we would not find without that technology except in books but a real person describing the Dharma is more effective then books ( at least this is what i think ) .) .

Gon ever heard the quote every saint has a past and every sinner has a future? Mother Theressa was just a woman doing her best to help she wasn't an enlightened being dude! Same with Gandhi, look at his past. Sex/celibacy experiments with kids dude?!

Nope it does not. For an oral transmission, the teacher must acknowledge your presence and vice versa and thus can only happen in realtime.
