Passport stamping entry in Zanzibar is needed only for foreigners but not for Tanzanians. Tanzania is a union of two countries Tanganyika and Zanzibar. You may find some things are confusing because there are union and non union matters like they have their own president, national flag, etc.

Their own president is not a commander in cheif! He's chairman of the Revolutionary Council. The president of the united republic of Tanzania is Samia Suluhu Hassan. Those people always complaining of wanting their freedom as if the mainland is their colony. They have no clue how they've been benefiting from mainland until they lose it. There are some arabs within them who are lying to them that if they break up from the union zanzibar will be like Dubai😁

Passport stamping is for foregners, but that bull💩💩 really needs to go. Two countries Tanganyika which is mainland and zanzibar united and become Tanzania. Tan + Zanz = Tanzania. But those in zanzibar island always behave like step children😁.
