It’s such a small thing but visual progression of the effort you’re putting in is so important and way more than just “.4% crit increase” in the newer games

Unlike the newer games there like over a thousand different copper swords with stats, if the newer games had a set up, it be only one copper sword that does 3 blocks of damage, plus the fights would be far less tedious.

This game SERIOUSLY needs a Remaster / Remake.. With the hardware and technology available now, they could quite easily turn Blackbeard’s CGI intro into actual gameplay and I’d be all for it 🔥

Why? To experience whole thing again? You're nuts. After Skull & Bones and Valhalla with modern Ubi it would be total garbage filled with MT and cut so many stuffs out. NO ONE would get it (except buckethead loonies).

i like the appearence of the jackdaw when maxxed. Its really cool and ubisoft said like "freak to make it to golden ship with so much fire power it brings legendary ships to shame!!"

That's what I love about the visual progression - it's so gradual that you almost don't notice just how much the ship changes until you look back at the earlier states and you're thinking: "damn.....did it used to look that bad??".

It kind of bugs me how low it rides in the water. On the open ocean you wouldn’t be able to use the lower gun ports without taking on water riding that low.

It's actually correct. Higher gun ports would mean the ship becomes top heavy and very unstable. Ships from the sailing age actually had very low gun ports, especially ships of the line.

Hull and cannon, then crew, then Swivle, Ram, or Mortar. (How I listed it is what I do)
