Ayesp I never said they were power 5, but in the beginning of the season most power 5 teams play conferences like the Mountain West, and to show for it they have the most wins against power 5 schools. A lot of teams don’t get steamrolled like you think

Funny that the athletic director isn't aware of all the people who license the rights to non-green turf from Boise State. There are literally tons of non-green turfs in use in professional, high school, and college sports and Boise gets a cut of all that action. It's a good thing no lawyer has ever challenged that trademark to reduce it down to only their specific colors.

So, does Eastern Washington pay them a licensing fee for their red turf? EDIT: For all the people answering "yes", can you please link a source for me. I don't see anything on Google. EDIT 2: I googled "blue turf" again and saw blue fields in Michigan, Virginia and New York. Not sure what the deal is now. Lol! EDIT 3: Apparently, Boise also has a sister university in Japan whom they've granted an international license to for the blue turf. The Hosei Orange.

The way I understand it, you have to ask Boise State do add color to your field and as long as it is not blue, they will give you the ok with no fee.

He doesnt have the greatest arm, and isn't incredibly tall, but nobody has a mind for football like he does!! To see him coaching the offense of the cowboys is pretty amazing.. Courtney Sutherlin Most wins in the nation since 2000, top home winning percentage since 2000, been ranked every year since 2002, been to a bowl every year since 2002, 19 conference championships, 19 bowl games, 3 Fiesta bowl wins, wins over Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Oregon, Washington, TCU, Virginia, Utah, Arizona State, Washington State, and more. Only 5 losing seasons since World War 2, 15 years of 10 or more wins since 2000. Before you say anyone can win at a level like that as a non P5 school, let me ask, why can Wyoming do it? why can New Mexico State do it? why can’t Georgia State do it? why can’t Florida Atlantic do it? Why can’t Ball State do it? Why can’t Northern Illinois do it? Boise State is a power program and that’s no joke. Were the Alabama of the G5

@@grandtetons2 I'm from Alabama, Boise is not on Alabama's level. Alabama, Lsu, Florida, Georgia and other teams recruit better and send more players to the NFL. Plenty of teams would be undefeated with the same schedule. Boise will never be a top program because it's in Idaho. They will never get top recruits from the south.

Courtney Sutherlin I never said we were on Alabama’s level. If we played Alabama right now, we would get absolutely smacked. I said we’re the Alabama of the Go5. There’s no debate in that. Boise has Top 50 recruiting class. Best Go5 recruiting class this year, but stars don’t make players. Trust me. From 2008-2012 Boise State went 62-5 with a bunch of no name players.

I wish BSU had an area for tailgate and camping. I am certain ticket sales would go back up if they had a place to come in the eavening before the game, stay the night of the game and leave by 11 the day after. With late night kickoffs and the weather, this couldn't help but be a win win.
