This is true. However, Manu didn’t invent the Eurostep, the Eurostep was (unsurprisingly) invented by a European player, iirc Sarunas Marciulionis. Manu definitely did popularize it - he proved that top level players could use it. Sarunas was obviously very good - he made it into the NBA - but Manu is a HOFer for a reason. Next level player for sure, huge respect to the Argentinian GOAT

Gino like was a great player but a few players did it in the 90’s but were called for traveling. I don’t know why. It’s only two steps after gather: the zero step which establishes the pivot, plus one.

Cap. Šarūnas Marčiulionis was the first to use it here in the league, and wasnt called for traveling. He tightened it up so the step wouldnt look as wide and broad like now. Manu just made it popular
