Andrew Garfield had the shortest run with two years. And Tom Holland had a six-film contract consisting of three Avengers films and three Spider-Man films. Captain America: Civil War counted as an Avengers film, so when he appeared in Infinity War and Endgame, he finished the ensemble films on his contract. And with Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home, Tom Holland has one more solo film left and that's Spider-Man: No Way Home which will be released in December 2021. If it's the last Spider-Man movie under Marvel Studios, then Tom Holland would have been Spider-Man for five years like Tobey Maguire.

Comic book wise, I like that they reboot. It gives an easy explanation to old inconsistencies to newer comics, meanwhile with Marvel, 40 year old comics don't mesh well with the current comics and have too much of a muddy continuity that it needs a reboot.

One thing I would have changed is the public response to the new Captain America reveal. I think the public opinion of a replacement Captain America after Sam deliberately and publicly tried to retire the shield to preserve Steve Rogers’ legacy and memories would have been seen as a slap in the face. I think they would be infuriated instead of overjoyed.

Fun fact: Wyatt Russell (John Walker) revealed that he originally auditioned for the role of Captain America for Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and that it was his very first audition. Chris Evans got the role and Russell got to play the next incarnation of Captain America in this show.

@@matthewjanz593 yeah, I’ve seen people say Captain America has never killed anyone every single person he’s killed deserved it and this guy has helped kill many people he wasn’t just some innocent dude. I know in the original story that falcon and the Winter soldier before the rewrites, the main villain girl was supposed to be trying to get tons of vaccines and stuff for people but because of Covid they decided to change it but I don’t think they changed enough. They made them just kill people. I feel any sympathy for a killer, and especially at the end with falcon speech, where he tries to say that she was a good person. No, she wasn’t, there’s no way to justify killing people they’re not helping the people who are blipped, which is another thing Marvel has barely looked at, and I don’t think any world government would know how to react to people disappearing for five years and returning
