The neural sentry is not a void entity. It’s an Orokin mind-controlling security system. Vor was transformed by the void itself rather than hijacked by the Neural Sentry, hence why he has no corrupted unit mask thing.

With Vor being in the Undercroft, and Duviri existing outside of time, it's possible that the Vor we meet there just became void energy after his defeat (hence why he stills refers himself as Captain Vor), and the Vor we see in the towers is after an unknown amount of time. Essentially, he became a Conceptual Embodiment of himself, refusing to die by the hands of the Tenno, and used the Janus Key to "save" his life.

I though the "not beeing pure" part was a reference to how the warframes are half infested. In general i thought he was talking more to the frames than the tenno since the tenno kinda belong in the void more than the real world. I had a lot of mixed answers about it but I think the safest bet is implying the neural sentry in the towers, nothing seems to be confirmed. (And because of new Vor in circuit, the quote is somewhat retconned)

I doubt he even knows about the infested part of the warframes only the obvious void power and elite warriors to further cast doubt on that look at your usual infested then look at Excalibur for example they look practically completely different from each other the infested are rough flesh scattered throughout the body while the warframes are more sleek and smooth barley anything rough about them beyond spikes and the occasional void thing here and there on some warframes.

i always found grineer and corpus characters to be alot more interisting and dare i say "human", its hard to really care when the character you play as is a demi-god slaughtering by the thousands without much struggle or personality.

@HellishSpoon well that’s because they are human, every faction we see in the game are all human including the infested. As for the bit about us been demigods it’s what the frames were made for, you have the Dax that are/were your elite soldiers, the Greneer that are your standard soldier then you have the frames piloted by Tenno we don’t really have a earth equivalent but the closest thing is the SAS crossed with a nuke or maybe an aircraft carrier fully loaded with Apache helicopters whatever the latest fighter aircraft is and Tomahawk missiles. There kinda like the Space marines in 40k you send one in to do the job of a whole army most of the time the fact that a frame has been deployed is enough to make the enemy surrender and depending on the Orokin in command they may have the frame wipe out the target anyway just to make an example of them and to have fun at someone else’s expense and if they feel really cruel the frames are ordered to go heavy on the collateral damage, and this was before we went and got void powers, the whole void powers thing just made use even more deadly. And lastly my operation has a personality she is quite sassy.

"Janus" is a Latin word (it's the name of the god of gateways), so it's pronounced "Yanus". This kept grating on me throughout the video, especially since Vor himself clearly and consistently says it that way, which can even be heard in this video.

@@souleater4242564kodd Words can have multiple pronunciations, but when it's pronounced one way consistently in all spoken dialogue, there's much less of a case for saying it otherwise. In the video, "Orokin" is pronounced with more emphasis on the second syllable rather than the first, but there are a handful of instances where it's pronounced that way in the game (like when you open a Dragon Vault), so it's more acceptable.

As people have pointed out, the neural sentry is an Orokin defense mechanism and not related to the void. The reason Vor doesn't reference the Man in the Wall is because the latter wouldn't enter the picture until half a decade afterwards, and may not have even been a concept in development at that time. Personally, I believe Vor is just flat out wrong, or at least being misled. You can make the argument that Tenno aren't pure void entities, but neither is Vor- he's a human consciousness pulled into the Void and buying what the Man in the Wall is selling. We know what he's like, constantly trying to make deals with conscious minds in order to try to gain purchase into reality, so of course he'd feed into Vor's ego, allowing him to think that the Void is 'saluting' him, praising him when in reality it's just using him as another tool to be discarded.

8:50 you could also read his monologue as talking about his fellow Greneer and only talking about Tenno when he says there name before going back to talking about the Greneer. So unless DE have given a clear yes or no on who he is talking about I still say it’s up to the listener to choose who he is talking about as it can be taken both ways.

I have a question for the lord nerds. Are narmer and the void controlling devices the same? They both use those masks and we know what the narmer masks tell the people wearing them thanks to fortuna. Vor was never chosen by the void. We know the void is the realm of the man in the wall who specifically chose the children on the Zariman Ten-Zero. Therefor Vor is likely speaking out of ego. He is the trespasser, not the Tenno as they are true void-born. The Tenno only use warframes because their power is so great it’s difficult to control. Vor more than likely stole the Janus Key from a Tenno stronghold or vault and then spread a story among the Grineer than he was chosen. I do not believe anything he says. Also I believe he is saying the Tenno are not pure because he knows Lotus isn’t human and is a sentient. Not of the void.

Ok completely insane conspiracy theory what if Vor is the man in the wall? Vor being Captain in the comic is, most likely, just an editing mistake. The writer probably just used character's in-game name, not knowing that in the time period of their own comic he has a different rank.

I think the most impressive part of Vor is his ability to speak, and quite well, by the sounds of it. I find myself quite often noticing the small errors in peoples' writing, mostly grammatical. I notice errors like people using the incorrect form of 'there', 'their', and 'they're.' But I suppose I can't fault people for it, after all, English is a fairly difficult language to learn. So the fact that Vor's speech isn't completely and totally broken is something I find rather impressive.
