Two elite teams squared off in an epic battle, and they will have a rematch soon. In this video, we break down the chess match between Quin Snyder and Erik Spoelstra, analyzing the Utah Jazz offense and the Miami Heat defense.
The Jazz have typically struggling against switching defenses, and in this game, it was a mixed bag. We break down a specific strategy the Jazz used, looking at film throughout the game to see the different wrinkles for both teams.
This channel needs more conversations and shit talking - leave a comment please I'm bored.

As soon as you pointed out the green thing I couldn’t keep my eyes off it lol, great breakdown, while I was watching it frustrated me how the Jazz didn’t get it into Gobert off switches but the heat played it really well, also Mitchell high touch passes were so effective

Can u do more analysis on some miami heats defense this year? They’ve had some stellar games where their defense either sparked a comeback win or shutdown opponents completely. Thanks

I've watched the game, since it's possible Finals and even though I don't see this high many details, I got impression that Heat controlled the game from start to finish. Looks like they have Jazz's number

The Heat played extremely well, about as well as you could play the Jazz. That being said, shooting over 50% from three like they did is not likely to hold up over a series. The Jazz need to improve their defensive execution, especially in transition, but the Jazz seemed to have better shot quality. It's a fantastic matchup and I don't know who would win.

Also, this looked like a very difficult matchup for Joe Ingles. The Jazz are going to need to find better ways to get him involved against a switching defense because his pick and roll game was very ineffective.

@@DrawingTheDefense I somehow got impression that everybody except Mitchell was held under control. But it's not completely true, Royce had a good game for his standards. I am not an expert, but I haven't seen some super crazy threes from Heat, to me it looked more like most of them were open, built shots. Can Mitchell score 37 every game? I don't know.

Bojan Bogdanovic to me, at least by the eye test, had a great game. Clarkson was terrible but he's been terrible all year except against the Hawks. Gobert did not have a good game but Whiteside did. Conley was a bit up and down if I remember correctly. For the Heat, Duncan Robinson will always be a major shooting threat and Lowry never seems to have bad shooting games, but Herro went berserk which can happen occasionally, probably not for a whole series though.

@@DrawingTheDefense I think Miami is going to trouble any team they play specifically jazz, they are trying to ultimately get ball to Gobert or get 3 pointer or a lay up, but shot making is a concern as the heat at end will close out hard
