Doesn't need to be. Just needs to play winning basketball and do everything his team needs (which is what he is doing). Man is the triple double king and has an MVP to show for it. Now he wants (needs) a title to secure his legacy (already secured in my opinion).

Great video Muvzy. I understand he was at one point on a giant contract with subpar performance, but I never understood the level of hatred showed towards him. He’s one of the most electrifying and entertaining players I’ve seen in his prime. Honestly too, people really expect someone with Russ’ play style to be thriving at age 35?? As a wizards fan i love him for the season he had here with us, I was able to see the Philly vs Wizards playoff game live and we won that game. It was a filler season and as a DC fan every season was filler but he gave us something to look forward to. I used to be a hater but man he is such a respectable player.

I really thought management should have sat down with Russ and asked him to stay there with Bradley Beal, with the idea they were going to go get Kristaps Portzingis. They had the pieces and draft assets to go after Kristaps while Russ and Beal were still there. I know Russ asked to go to LA and management worked with him to make it happen but they really should have convinced him to make his own legacy with Beal and Portzingis. Given how things transpired in Brooklyn, The Wizards could have been in position to eventually also trade for Kevin Durant to reunite KD and Russ in Washington(where KD is from) Imagine a squad with KP, KD, Beal, and Russ?.....

I think it come more done to usage rate harden pg and kawhi all make each other better because it’s hard to stop a team with 3 valid options to make a play and Russ make his effect know when he controls the offense you’ll still get you bad moments but the good is outraging it again because even though it’s on less time he get to play like he’s in okc leaning more towards his playmaking

At the same time, leading a 2nd unit with Powell, with a toss back in of, Klaw, PG and Harden, have to laugh. Then you throw in Amir (underrated), Zu/Plum/Theiss, and you see the smoothness. I'll be honest, did I just renew Clippervision lol. Tough stretch initially, but if this team stays Healthy(praying, lol) a parade is possible in LA. Yeah seen losses to Min, OKC... but sometimes the Clips seem disinterested and like the Claw Statement, I'll just Airball again lol

It never really left to be honest he just played with LeBron. You can't be a ball dominant point guard on Lebron's team because LeBron is always the point guard even if its not listed as such. So he got put in a role that he didn't normally play and his production dropped pretty normal for the third star on a Lebron team. Before someone mentions Kyrie. Kyrie is really just an undersized shooting guard like Dwade and that can work with lebron as the true pg of the team

What I see is a group of NBA players who were obviously aware of your stats and instead of having Russ actually EARN the points by simply playing the game, they made it easier for him to reach his goal or whatever hitting that 25,000 points would be considered. This shows even more that the NBA is rigged in some ways. I'd rather earn all of awards and any championships I get.
