Crowder can defend all 5 positions. 4 at a high level. They let him go, and didn't replace him with a similar defender. Bradley can really only defend 3, and the last not as well as Crowder. Meanwhile the Bucks got better, especially defensively. Jrue Holiday is probably the best defensive guard in the league. Got a pretty good offensive game too. Portis gives them great minutes, and Tucker is a fantastic defender. That's pretty much the story.

The Chris Bosh situation is so rough. He was still an amazing player, sucked to have our all star sitting out, saying he feels totally fine and wants to play, but the front office couldn't risk it. The fact his career ended that way is a bummer. Guy was fun to watch and had an awesome attitude

I mean, Duncan Robinson was also part of that proposal and he was by far the better player of the 2 and a far more important piece to the team as a whole, seeing Duncan on that list would almost make me say no but the Rockets then wanted Herro who overperformed but didnt look like he would completely shit the best next season as well

No one paid attention to the Heat or the games. In 2019, I told people that the Heat would either see the Lakers or the Clippers. People were sleeping on the Heat. Real Heat fans knew this and kept quiet because if everyone got notice of them, they'd take them seriously. The secret of what Pat Riley did was not thank and have the role players be as good as the main players. And Jimmy Butler fit perfectly with the Heat's mentality.

Dragic has always been one of my favorite players. A little slow, undersized, and skinny, by most accounts he has no business playing in the NBA. Had he worked hard when he was young, the best he could have hoped for was to be a 3-point specialist, like Steve Kerr. Instead, he worked harder than hard endlessly and was relentless on-court, and became a legendary 6th man and, at times, even an all-star. He reminds of this guy who used to play in our pick-up games who sucked, but was never more than 6 inches away from me on defense so I never touched the ball. Honest to god, I stopped showing up when I knew he'd be there. Now that I'm older, I have a lot of respect for the mentality of that guy. After he played with us a few times, we all recognized he was the worst player on the court skill-wise, yet he was never picked as one of the last 3 or 4 players when teams were decided (but I sure was, lol).

i really enjoy your videos and appreciate the storytelling you do. one piece of criticism: i think you could mix the audio a bit better. sometimes when there is background music i cant tell if it is intentional or not, its at a volume level where i am checking my phone to see if i have music playing but then realize its the vid. anyways, good shi

The 2015-16 Miami Heat are one of my favorite teams to follow of all time. I loved all the storylines and the mixing of players that year. Felt like if Bosh didn't go down again with blood clots that they could've been legit threats to make the finals

Herro is a gamble. He still is, the kid can explode and score in bunches but his jumpshot is very streaky - and he should have never played the point guard. The decision to do that mixed with covid protocol problems and a record setting short off season is why the heat were a let down in the regular season. Potential is still there for hero to be 6th man of the year if he can keep focused. The bubble had a lot of advantages for the heat. The franchises grinding mindset had them more prepared for the nba return then every other team. Another thing i noticed is Bams integration in the system needs a rework. He’s often got his back to the basket giving dribble hand-offs when he’s got space / time to hit a mid range jumper. He also debatably should be playing the 4.. Imo if the heat can figure this out they have the potential to beat brooklyn.
