Oh I remember ticket inspectors like him when I lived in the South of England. They'd stop trains and keep the doors locked until BTP arrived over a hungover teen without a £3.20 ticket. I couldn't believe the difference when I moved to Wales, so much more relaxed! They actually listen to people like human beings if someones made a mistake or if they've got no money they'll turn a blind eye. It's like night and day. Where I used to live if you got on a train without a ticket or permit to travel they'd try and fine you straight away. Where I am now noone buys a ticket before getting on the train (no machines or if there is one people aren't used to it) Everyone travelling on the trains round here recently have been getting free travel cuz there's no guards or anything cuz if the 'rona.

Daniel Halpin (born 1985), also known as Tox, is a British graffiti writer. He has found fame for adding his tag, always simply the word Tox followed by a number indicating the year, in a very large number of locations across the London Underground network and walls around London and Glasgow.[1] He was convicted of criminal damage in June 2011[2] and imprisoned after a history of ignoring ASBOs. Prosecutor Hugo Lodge told the court: "He is no Banksy. He doesn't have the artistic skills, so he has to get his tag up as much as possible." After his trial Ben Eine, another graffiti artist, criticised his work, saying: "His statement is Tox, Tox, Tox, Tox, over and over again." he said that the tags are "incredibly basic" and lacking "skill, flair or unique style". A sentence of 27 months was later passed, the judge commenting "There is nothing artistic about what you do".[3] Banksy created a mural in Camden Town, close to Halpin's home, showing a small boy blowing bubbles that formed the Tox tag[4] after his imprisonment. It is not clear whether the image was a sign of support or further criticism of his simplistic style.

A few years after this program was made; I was visiting Royal Leamington Spa PSB (Network Rail), as part of my duties, and across the tracks and station there was a derelict site with screenings boards all around it. On the Railway side, hidden from the road, were several vandals (now called artists!!) tagging the boards. I called the local Police in the hope they could catch these vandals and associate them with their tags that "decorate" the Railway and lineside structures. But guess what; PC Plod was not interested; easier ways to fill their quotas with speeding tickets!! without the hard work!!

It's funny, in Taiwan where the price of a ticket is 50p no-one fare dodges. Well one it's the culture but also it's a fair price and is a much nicer train network to me. Also when i did do the london train, i went to heathrow but went up the wrong line to rayners lane then had to wait to get back to acton town, 2 trains didn't come so i was late by about 15 minutes to where i should have been, this charged me another ticket without me even knowing until i looked at my bank balance. Taiwan you can be in the train system for 2 hours without being charged another ticket. Anyway at least TFL refunded me after emailing them but it would be nice to know there's a time limit by posting it in obvious places

Im not surprised that the U.K. lacks in public transportation than even more poor country (not a diss) But that has to happen, when you use most of the public's tax money on military upgrades. Or use the money for lobbying laws that protects big corps like the few guys who runs the U.K.'s public transport, so they can raise fare prices without delivering a better experience.

@@Stefan-jk5gx They don't receive *any* subsidies for day-to-day costs if I'm not mistaken. The GLA or DfT can decide to pay for new infrastructure, but operational costs have to be covered by fares. @WorldAviation 4K Taipei's MRT has much more significant subsidies, and (because the network is smaller and more modern) each passenger costs less to move. The PPP- and subsidy-adjusted fare to go a comparable distance on the Tube is not that expensive.

what I don't understand is why it's such an issue of ppl don't wanting to show stuff to the ticket inspectors... in my country each train in the country is manned by 2 or more inspectors checking tickets, if you don't have a proper ticket you get the chance to pay the ticket price plus fine on the train, if you don't want to you get escorted off the train at the next station and waited on by either railway police or the national police and you'll have to pay an even higher fine... if not, you'll get prosecuted... and get a criminal record... a few years ago things changed to the point that you can't enter or exit most stations without a legal ticket (the gates check the dates on the tickets automatically to see if they're legit or not)

I had to look hard but it does have a plate on, just blurred to match the colour of the rest of the car, 15:47 is a good example of this where the other car appears not to have a reg, also 16:23 - the red honda has a front reg but after the red focus drives past, it's covered up. Pretty good editing in my opinion, very subtle you can only tell if you know what you're looking for.
