Dear Lisa, I recently discovered your videos and Facebook page. I really want to learn more about herbs and chickens. I love your Maine chicken coop and run. It's pretty much what I'd like to save up for, for our future chicks. I do have a question about roosts. Yours look like flat boards. Is that better than round ones? Thank you for all your informative videos!

Hi! There's tons of info about herbs on my blog... and yes, I use 2x4 boards with the wide side facing up for roosts. If you use rounded roosts, they should be at least 3" in diameter, not small dowels etc.
