Thanks to everyone for all your comments. Sorry I’m a little late on replying to one’s n ones. Some of you have made comments referring to the history of slaves & how the land should be given back to the people of Jamaica. You may be surprised to know the amount of black people that vacation at Tryall & also there are quite a few black Jamaican villa owners. I’m very rich so rich that money cannot buy my richness, love is my richness & because of my love it makes me so happy with life & all people. And to all my subscribers & viewers we need to continue to share the love. So let’s go go go & continue sharing more love. 🇯🇲❤️💛💚🌍

Thanks to you boss, I must come and stay at a villa at Reef House! I just said I need a vacation to Jamaica the other day. Thanks for sharing about the wheel. I played a Powerball ticket today here in the USA. The top prize if $1 BILLION DOLLARS! Imagine how much blessings I could bestow upon the people of Jamaica. Wish me luck!

I've visited the great house back in the 8o's, I was born in Jamaica, also my parents were born and raised in Jamaica. They both passed away, but my father was from Spanish town and my mother was from I believe it's Mandeville, but her father was head of police years back. We have a park called Mowatt Park, with a bronze bust of my great grandfather. He started the burial scheme society back in the day.

"The Tryall Water Wheel was built in 1700 and is powered by water from the Flint River. Water from the river is supplied to the waterwheel via an aqueduct which carries water down for two miles from the hills. During the wet season when the river is powerful enough, the waterwheel still turns... The waterwheel provided enough power to grind sugarcane and extract the juice. The boiler room in which the sugarcane juice was boiled to produce muscovado sugar and molasses was nearby, and the chimney still remains to this day." Eventually the property was sold and the new owner produced coconut. Prior to all of this, the 2020 acres property was home to Tianos.

Tryall is large property in Sandy Bay Hanover. Yes it is old and quite extensive with questionable history but the owners have kept it well. It is an expensive resort but you get your money worth. One of my doctors in the US loves it there, for the professionalism of the staff and the golf course. One of the best resort in Ja also Round Hill not too far away.

Historically, water wheels were used in Jamaica for various purposes, particularly during the era of sugar plantations. Water wheels were commonly used to power sugar mills and crush the sugarcane to extract the juice. These mills played a significant role in the island's sugar industry. One well-known example of a water wheel in Jamaica is the water wheel at the Hampden Estate in Trelawny. The Hampden Estate is a historic sugar plantation that still operates today. They have preserved their traditional methods of sugar production, including the use of a water wheel to power the mill.

People can stay anywhere if they have the money. The common man spends money on foolishness instead of experiences. How many women have tons of shoes they don't have feet to wear but wouldn't pay to stay at a nice resort. Priority is the key.

@@em4160 10% of all houses in London now sell for more than £1million. So if you bought a house in London 30 years ago on a mortgage you don't have to be anything special to afford one of those villas as a 50- or 60-year old professional who has paid off the mortgage. A job as a doctor, lawyer or IT worker will do.

If you got money you can live really good in Jamaica... but your house will be a prison, bars everywhere etc. Unless you live on a security complex ... I lived in constant springs and my house was a fortress, same when I lived in Ochio Rios... this man is definitely staying in a rich complex constantly patrolled by armed security... that's the only downfall to Jamaica, the crime .. apart from that it's probably in my top 5 places I've visited or lived in. ❤
