Make sure you check the specs of the M7 before purchasing. Because it was revised in 2020. I. In United States you're looking for M70B. To my knowledge the older one doesn't have type C and has a slightly dimmer display.

Thanks for the review, I was going for the M8 but then you sid something crucial:no HDMI port on the M8, only usb-c port🤔 I have a mcb pro 2011😅still functioning wonderfully. Thank you very much for the review🙏🙏 The Lord bless you and keep you Shalom

Hi, there is no full sized hdmi port on the M8 but there is a mini hdmi port. The M8 comes with a hdmi to mini hdmi cable so you can use your MacBook Pro as long you have the special cable

What do you think about the speakers m7 vs m8? Also what do you think about the m70 2023 version which shares somehow design with the m8?

The speakers in both the M7 and M8 are fine for casual use. Don’t expect great bass. I use my Apple TV connected to HomePods when I want great sound. Regarding the M70 2023 version that might be the better buy for most people in 2023. It shares most of the features of the M80C for a cheaper price if you buy it on Amazon. The differences include the design, m70c doesnt come with camera, m70c only comes with hdr10 support and not hdr 10+ support and has a slightly dimmer screen.

Hello. I'm torn between the two and there is a huge difference in price. Which would you recommend for viewing and gaming? Which one is good as a panel?

The M8 is better in all ways compared to the M7 . If you can, wait for a sale or buy used.

My original m70a just died im looking for a m70b replacement. Can't find anything on the differences aside from new Tizen os. Anyone know?

Other differences include New remote, slightly brighter and I think slightly faster response time.

@@JCTechFinance Thanks man, nice to hear. I really had nothing of value to complain about with the old one for the price and my use case. Potentially better HDR from the brightness bump will be nice and that new remote looks very similar to the slim version I have with my QN95A TV, 2021 model. I assume the M70C is improved in the same way the B is over the A I suppose? Pulled the trigger on an open box M70B after I posted this yesterday for 280. Excited to see it. I'll drop a comment after I've used it for a while to share my experience between the two with others.

m8 looks nice. i just hate how they are trying to be like apple. also, not sure why it didn't come in black as well. id get the M7 for the black color.

Samsung does have a tendency to copy what Apple does. If Apple released a studio display in black, Samsung would probably release a copycat model.

Yes but the iMac was released before the M8 and the M8 and Studio display both take design cues from the latest iMac.
