Ohhhh yes! But if you wanted to know how quickly they ran out of merch? - I turned up actually around 4, managed to see part of the other running session (I didn’t want spoilers… but I overheard the ending, so I knew they were playing 3 songs, 100%) - They ran out, literally right there, but they only had one stool, and just what was hanging up was left. One hoodie, (£80-90. I can’t remember how much…) and one top, which was £30? What you missed in that time, Jun Senoue, he walked out and a few of us got to meet him - I got a selfie, and thanked him for the music, he just then got swarmed around 60 seconds later… followed by clearing off, then he returned before the show! (What a guy!) Then I spoke to a few randoms and they were like… when’s it starting? They said 10 minutes? And I just went, if Jun, is out here - they’d tell him to clear off 😅 and stop distracting the crowd! Hand on heart - this was a concert to remember! - and yeah… there was ONE moment, I wanted to share in some of my own video. But here I’ll shorten it here for a more… for fans supporting fans, I started crying when they played “Reach for the stars.” - I ended up wiping the tears away… they still flowed… A late friend of mine, she recorded herself singing that song. I can’t remember if it was for secondary school music class or whether it was exclusive exclusive for myself… but she sent it to me, and I remember the conversation we had… She was like, don’t listen to it I can’t sing… She could sing, when she tried, she could sing* she wasn’t shy persay, but once the camera/mic is brought out, NOOOOOPE. I get that, I remember her choosing the song because of me, sonic fan… Sonic colors at the time* was the most recent sonic game or at least, that I’d played when it was originally recorded. When she passed away (car accident.) - said audio disappeared and I for many years preserved her pictures I had to cleam from Facebook and what have you… The short of the next part was : I had a thing happen, My home was invaded and I was robbed blind. I had been essentially kidnapped and thrown into a cage, threatened with many things and many words I said were twisted and altered to make any part of my life be the biggest cosmic disaster that ever existed. A blight on humanity and life as we know it. Along with it - Pictures, audio… My confidence in KZfaq as that was weaponised against me, the people involved within this - then said, Misunderstanding we didn’t target you. Yes you did. The closest visual representation I can share is : doctor who, series 9, Hell Bent, the scene where they just want to talk to him and every time he walks off back. Then when the person, the president no less - comes along he offers the doctor his hand, and the doctor drops the dial from his pocket, The president looks down and just says. “We needed to know.” - the doctor : Get off my planet. - that’s the level of control I wish I had and the opportunity to hold them accountable for their crimes. I digress. I eventually got my stuff back. But what’s missing? I have all my games back, my music, my original recordings for KZfaq… I also have my old logos in original formats… My friend? I don’t have her photo now. Nor the audio. When the symphony was live, I tuned in, I was like half an hour late to the premiere… but I joined in, the moment Reach for the stars, started playing. I could hear her voice. I could hear that performance, And it’s when sonic for me went from a, something I loved as a child, to something I am now emotionally crying over because it was how we bonded, I’ve since found the audio* through some technical reason I don’t know how… I used Plex media server… Short version, told it look at *everything* - it somehow found a incorrectly named file extension as audio, and when I saw an extension Dot OGX, which I didn’t know when I changed it from OGG, which in turn was originally a mp4 converted into MP3, because she shared it originally via KZfaq. Because she didn’t know how to do audio editing with anything other than a video editor… I’ve got zero ideas on which she used. I didn’t know OGX, was a thing it’s a different type of OGG, but yeah… I found that audio, and I cried. When they played the song. I was in floods of tears… The guys next to me, who I met that night. Ryan, and his brother Lewis, I told them, I’m incredibly sorry if I start crying… No one around me apparently noticed or did but didn’t say anything, I wasn’t sobbing : I just had floods of tears. *This is me* - I don’t have emotions usually. So the fact, I had an emotion. It wasn’t met with negativity and I could sit with it, but I don’t think I’d have coped but the anxiety and awkwardness of being stuck in the middle of a row… meant I couldn’t leave, 🙌 I feel like, I’ve become numb to the world like 99% of the time, because I have to. And for one night, I was able to cry and not feel like a burden- I feel like that’s got to be some progress of some kind. And I thank all of those who performed and came that night to both bear witness to the entire thing - sonic symphony. Then the .00001 that was me crying in front of hundreds if not thousands of people…
