The black and red with the jolley roger was a derivative of my design that someone from the bucs requested during this transition. The original plan was to have a skull with crossed bones (not swords) and bones down the legs instead of stripes. The whole Uniform was to be black with red piping.

Also, I would love to hear your thoughts on the NFL allowing the “Gardian Caps” in games. How is this going to influence design? Are they going to add logos to the caps?

Well no shit. They are Buccaneers. Actually the Bucs logo is more reflective of pirates. So.........

+Half of those designs look better than what Tampa Bay settled on. If the Bucs would have actually gone silver, Al Davis' should have sued them.

I can't disagree with you about the helmet logos. I also wish they had gone to a burnt orange instead of red, as the primary color. Many teams have red; no pro teams have burnt orange.
