Now that's a motorhead. He loves his van, but knows it's not the fastest or best handling, but still loves it cause it's his. Plus it's one of the cleanest looking vans I seen. Would take that any day than some poster car.

I drove this Vw T5 from Perth to Melbourne in 3 days. 3450 km. 1 st day. 700 km. 2 nd day 1750 km 3 rd day 1000 km. Enjoy every moment never tired of driving it. Very comfortable van. I enjoy driving even in city.

I've got me a T4 dumped on Mercedes AMG wheels as a bit of a work horse/ band equipment wagon! Love these motors as they're timeless and so fun to drive :D

Enes Garazlic Los my dad had 2011 W212 MB and it had total of 27 of Mercedes logos, in front, in tailgate, in wheels, in steering wheel, in gearshifter and even in every wheel bolt

Good video, good to see a practical car that is modified. I do the same. I have a XT Forester, lowered, tuned, rims etc; and it's perfect for sleeping in the back of. I'll never go back to a sedan!

i totally agree with this man. I'm the proud owner of a citroen berlingo and you can make your own modifications on the vans. So mine got a personal touch on it. with chrome bullbar and chrome race lights on the bullbar, Borbet rims, darker windows,....

I think this is cool. I used to drive vans in my previous job and I loved the high driving position. I'm thinking about doing something similar to this so I can get my motorbike in the back. Also great for lugging stuff about. I don't need rear seats because I'm single and I don't have any pram rats.

You obviously don't know much about doing motor swaps, you would need to upgrade the whole driveline. Calm down, it was just an idea for a sleeper. obviously not practical enough for you. You must drive a prius

dad has a similar setup, designed for camping but his will sit 6 people and has a stove and a bed long enough for a guy thats 6 foot 7 too sleep in comfortably :D oh ya and its the 2.2 140BHP model :D

You see he's done it wrong with a t5 you get a bigger turbo in it. Remap the ecu to give it more diesel lower it, give it some more air intake and give it a more allowing exhaust and you've got a 0 - 62 of about 7(6 if your lucky) seconds

The quickest one 2.5 TDI 174 takes 12.2seconds to 62mph you’re never halving that down to 6 seconds even with a turbo and remap never in a million years
