I think that Jesus is just a way of humanizing the universe and making it more relatable to people. Jesus was not the problem. He just brought the darkness in people to the surface. He didn't start wars, people did, he only spoke thetruth and made a way for those who were too afraid to speak up about wrong. The darkness did not like that and became more aggressive but the light and those in it, fought back. Just think of him as a very prominent choosen one. And he us. Just look at all the time that has past and he is still inspirational and impactful. Please read Mathew mark Luke and John and you will see that the core of his message was and is truth and freedom. He was not into traditions like the people of those days were. He called the church hypocrites because they only pretended to love God but actually worshipped traditions and systems. He saw through the hypocrisy and spoke against it. For that, people hated him. But his people, those who had truth in their heart, they loved and still love him and what he stands for. Jesus represents selflessness. And keep in mind God/ the universe uses people to do things in the human domain. Therefore it's not too odd to believe that this figure Jesus was used by God or the universe to do what he did. I believe in Jesus and what he represents and I can tell the difference between religious worship and true relationship with God. One is robotic and rigid and the other is as flexible and understanding as real relationship would be.
