Life HAS to exist elsewhere for the simple fact that it exists here. if you look at the universe EVERYTHING repeats, NOTHING happens just once. statistically life will be EVERYWHERE. scientists say that to find life you look for water as water seems to be the catalyst that started it all. (on earth at least this appears to be true) taking that into account the most abundant element in the universe is hydrogen. the third most abundant element is oxygen. water is 1 part hydrogen and 2 parts oxygen. water is EVERYWHERE hence there is a VERY high probability that life will also be everywhere.

Not saying it's impossible, but what I'm trying to Simply say is alien life is probably not how you envision it. Like I said aliens could be microorganisms living on another planet deep underwater where will never ever be able to reach them. And you know it be a crazy theory if all the animals on Earth were all from different habitable planets, but someone thought it was a good idea to keep all life forms in one area

If you are near a beach with this person ask them if they think there is life out in the universe if they say no, tell them to look down at the sand beneath their feet and remind them how deep the sand goes. Now tell them to take a hand full of sand and count each grain. After a while, they give up because there's too many. Now, take one grain of sand from their hand, preferably a unique and interesting one, and tell them it represents our star/sun, and that all the other individual grains of sand on not only their hand, the beach they are standing on, or even underneath all the earth's the oceans, but the entire earth itself represent the other stars of our universe. Take that special grain of sand and their hand full of sand and throw it as far as you can. They will never find the special and unique grain of sand ever again. You don't have to take my word for it friend, you can check the scientists and physicts who back this idea; I.e all it is; so when you say I'm dismissing shit I would humbly disagree coz all I'm saying is the idea is not built on solid foundations to be confirmed as a "fact" by any stretch of the imagination Me using my intellect is "going against discovery of truth" seems a bit hypocritical coz all truth is based on these principles.

Look at what humans have accomplished in the last 100 years, 10,000 years, 100,000 years... we think on a human time scale so 10,000 years seems like a long time. Imagine a species out there that's had a one million or even 1 billion year head start. Keep in mind, the universe is over 14 billion years old. Also, I think it’s kind of cool the way things repeat. For ex this video goes from the Earth to the observable universe, but you can also go the other direction. Start with Earth and go smaller, down to molecules, atoms, and sub-atomic whatever. You see the same patterns of objects(ex atoms) with smaller things orbiting around them(ex electrons), all clustered together to make matter, just as the planets orbit stars, and the stars orbit galaxies, and galaxies orbit big galactic clusters and so on. From the sub atomic to the observable universe, it’s like universes within universes (“multiverse”?), and it’s impossible to reach the end whether you go bigger OR smaller.
@NishGrewal6 жыл бұрын

@@NishGrewal Point taken! "Orbit" is simply the word I chose to make the point that small things like cozying up to bigger things. In the case of a hydrogen atom, granted the electron isn't there for the same reason that the moon orbits the Earth, but just as small rocks become planets and atoms in giant space clouds can eventually become stars, we see the pattern repeating itself. I didn't get too hung up on the "why", because you can even look at *human* society and find the same pattern: Where an individual or small group attracts more and more people to serve whatever purpose(governments, corporations, etc). Look at the stock market: Where you've got companies(atoms) that form relationships with investors(electrons), and in various ways combine and change to create new, bigger companies just as atoms with their electrons(where applicable) come together and make matter. Heck, look at the way humans and other creatures live: Individuals often seek out a group to join, and the bigger the group gets the more individuals it attracts. The reasons these relationships occur can be completely different, but we keep seeing the same pattern of behavior. I just find that interesting. At the time I wrote the post, I was thinking of the astronaut Chris Hadfield and his experiment with the wet rag in space. He talked about how dust and other particles in space clump together, similar to the way snowflakes do.

What if much of the species in the universe out of our solar system had a book similar to the Bible?
@InMaTeofDeath5 жыл бұрын
@@wowthatscool9333 Then that would be even more evidence that we are "not" special even by a gods standard if he would write books for several different species claiming each of them are the one and only special gods creation. I would not at all be surprised to find religion in other life forms but by definition it couldn't be compatible with anything humans came up with since there is no mention of other intelligent life that the supposed "god" created.

XxKidnoffxX Why not? The chances of us being the only intelligent species existence is next to impossible
@XxKidnoffxX5 жыл бұрын
@@Zer-db1bp, I'm not english, but I'll try to explain it short and clearly. First of all, A planetary system need between 5 and 10 billions years to be stable enough. And intelligent life need more than 3-4 billions years to evolve. The universe is young... I mean very very young. It's 13.8 billions years. All the scientist know we are a miracle, really big miracle. Good planetary system, good spot in the galaxie, good star, good spot in the solar system. We suffer over 20 cataclysme (5 very major one). We are more than lucky.... And of course, we appear when the universe is aged of 13.8 billions years. That's why we are probably the first intelligent life form of the universe. I tought the same thing of you before, but after a lot of research and some knowledge, I realize that we are probably alone (I mean as a intelligent species). I think all the people who think like you (and me before) are people with not enough space knowledge. Ps: Just look at the Drake equation...

Or those assumptions are wrong. Go figure.
@XxKidnoffxX4 жыл бұрын
@@seigeengine It's not assumption at all. We know how old universe is, and how many time a planetery system need to be stable and how many years it take the get a intelligent life form. It's not exact because it's an average, but it's a fact. Take a look the the Drake Equation just for fun...

It has been said before that we, as a species, might want to be more cautious in our desire to finally meet alien life forms. Just by judging life here on earth, everything from rivalry between species - to rivalry between human nations, there is very little to indicate that a potentially superior alien species would treat us gently. It could be quite the gamble. Sure, maybe they'd want to teach us nifty things, but if they were superior, it would be like pitting spears against machineguns or rabbits against sharks, there is no predicting what we could be up against and how overwhelmingly easy we could find ourselves completely dominated or even annihilated
@Williams28095 жыл бұрын
We would just cough all over their faces and kill them.
@dylanjones2685 жыл бұрын
I actually worry more for the aliens. If you look at how humanity treats land and sea life here, you can only come to the conclusion that the same would be done out there. What level of intelligence would it require for our species to try to be peaceful with a less intelligent species? We will very soon be in need of resources, do you believe in all honesty that we would throw out the 'us or them' mentality if it were to come to that? It's true, there could be far greater intelligence's out there and that they could be hostile but the way I see it, if that were the case than they would have found out about us a long time ago and dealt with us then.
@zegh85785 жыл бұрын
You mean, in a future where we eventually come across foreign intelligent species in space? Oh, absolutely, we're gonna enslave the hell out of them. That's what we do best. That's kind of my point: We have our earth and our behavior to go by, and going by that, if aliens were to discover us first, we'd probably be in for some harsh domination
@zegh85785 жыл бұрын
Why are you preaching to the choir AND calling people "cucks"? All the responses here agree that someone's gotta be eaten, and that someone's gotta be the one who didn't reach the technology to go to other worlds first. The ones who has the capacity to cross the ocean, so to speak, are the ones who most likely will start wrecking wherever they arrive, both deliberately, as well as with brought pathogens.
@zegh85785 жыл бұрын
You make a good point, but - the same way that we would not simply step out of a space ship, for then to insta-die from the alien environment, aliens would probably make their own precautions, way before setting foot here :D We researched the moon, then made space-suits, precisely so we would be able to walk around there. We were well prepared! Any intelligent aliens would be equally prepared An "anien invader" (for lack of a better term), would really only have two options: One, make their research, and only approach our world *because* they can breathe and survive in our environment - OR - always remain confined within their space suits. If the latter, then our world would not be somewhere they intend on staying permanently - unlesssss they were into the whole terraforming thing. If that were the case, we'd all die. People, animals, plants, everything. Which then would beg the question - what would they want from us? Minerals? Space is chock full of minerals, why kill us all for stuff that exists in abundance all over space? As for long future, that is indeed a fun thought. 3030 would be both unrecognizable - as well as totally familiar, just look at the difference between 2018 and 200 BC, lots of differences - but also lots of familiar concepts. A roman soldier brought to 2018 would be baffled by all the technology, but he would know exactly what to do in a sofa, with a dinner plate and a knife and a spoon. 800 000 AD though, that would truly be mindblowing! There really is no guessing what we or our societies would look like, which is kind of frustrating :D I still am on the fence wether we will even make it that long. We can really survive any climate, from arctic to scorching desert, as long as the atmosphere is survivable in itself. Since humans have long since come to control our environment (rather than being physically dictated by it), it is likely that our natural evolution is slowing considerably. Artificial evolution on the other hand, may just be beginning to accelerate, with scientific progress. I sometimes toy with the idea that humans never die out, and colonize planet after planet. Each world separates populations, creating new off-shoots, new histories, unendingly, untill we have infested all of time and space. Other times, I doubt we will ever leave earth. It costs too much money. What bank would grant us the loan? How would we pay back? :V

People who write comics should watch more stuff like this. Really, a magic glove that lets you wipe out half of all life in something THIS big? It’s like an ant wiping out half of all life on Earth by twitching it’s leg. Not trying to tear down comics or CB movies at all, just saying they need to rethink how they approach some of these concepts.
@theexplorer71396 жыл бұрын
Relax, it's comics not reality.
@dalinkwent2026 жыл бұрын
The Explorer Understanding the science helps people write better stories. I mean shit, don’t YOU like it when you see special effects that look like they could actually exist? That happens when artists pay attention to the science. Once you can blend the fake science with the real, the stories and art get better. That’s also how you make millions more in box office, because adults can appreciate it as much as the kids.
@Shadi_Wajed6 жыл бұрын
dalinkwent202 Exactly, It would make better stories if they know the extent of what's actually out there. Reality is much larger and weirder than human imagination. For example the galactic civilization in Star Wars is very primitive compared to what any real galactic civilization can be, to have the power to casually travel galaxy wide means that the death star should be nothing but a child's toy and without the need of any special magical crystals.
